"The job went excellent. Shay repaired about 100 lineal feet of fencing that had blown down. He placed new posts in new concrete. Did all new framing and even got me a great deal on the fence boards from a local supplier rather than paying over double at the big box stores. He really cares about doing a great job and is meticulous and makes sure everything is done right instead of trying to rush through it. I woukd absolutely recommend him to anyone looking for work done around their home or property. I'll be hiring him to rebuild my deck this spring as well!"

"George and Max, his assistant, assembled our Split king twin adjustable beds expeditiously and professionally. Additionally, they transferred the old king-size bed to our upstairs room. They did it within their estimated time and left the place clean and tidy. We could not ask for more. They were very friendly, polite and courteous. My wife and I are happy with their quality of work. Good job and we recommend them to others without any reservation."

"Brian's ability to see solutions in our property problems was very creative. We had a ditch up against our house left by the previous seller that was not only ugly, but dangerous for pets and children. I didn't know if asking for a deck/porch in this area was possible? So, when Brian came up with a creative, sturdy and attractive deck, I was delighted! It definitely increased the value of our home plus gave us new space to entertain guests. We've since welcomed Brian back to grade our driveway, build a path through heavy brush to our lake, replaced a few windows and installed a mahogany front door. Beautiful work! P.S. His pricing is very reasonable too! Thank you Brian!"

"I called Mr. Wirt after looking at my nephews dishwasher install problem with home depot. after speaking with him over the phone about the problem he assured me he was able to handle, I knew he could, after five minutes of conversation. as I have been in the trade myself and am currently a Building Engineer. Great guy, and my nephews condo tenants really loved him."

Pool Table Assembly questions, answered by experts

The only pools that don’t need grounding are those without electrical components, such as small inflatable pools. Any outlet around a pool should be a GFCI to cut the current if the outlet gets too wet. At the very least, the pool’s electrical should be plugged into a GFCI outlet, if not a dedicated GFCI breaker. Check local guidelines and requirements to ensure you’re following all safety regulations.

Whether or not a pool needs a dedicated circuit depends on the electrical needs of the motor, lights, and pump. Keep in mind that pool motors can use a lot of electricity. A dedicated circuit can prevent the breaker from tripping whenever you use the pool. A small motor for an equally small pool may only need a GFCI outlet. It’s best to plug it directly into the outlet rather than using an extension cord. You should also consult an electrician to ensure your pool’s electrical system is in accordance with local regulations.

Shock can clear a cloudy pool if the problem is insufficient free chlorine or an accumulation of chloramines from “spent” chlorine. However, it can make the issue worse if a high level of chlorine or a pH imbalance is the root cause of the problem. Test your pool water before treating the cloudiness to ensure you’re making the right call.

An easy way to know whether your sand filter has enough sand is to check how full the filter is and what the sand looks and feels like. The filter container should be two-thirds to three-quarters full of sand. Look for interior marks indicating the ideal sand level. If you put your hand into the sand, it should flow through your fingers without clumping. The filter pressure gauge is also an easy indicator—the right amount of sand leads to normal pressure, while too much or too little sand can cause high or low pressure.

Most importantly, you should never cut corners when building a pool. Whether it’s an in-ground or aboveground, poorly constructed pools are dangerous to both the swimmers and your property. Leaks can even lead to home foundation damage. While you can DIY smaller elements of pool installation, always hire a contractor to oversee the process.
