We are truly delighted with the deck that JWBuilders built as a replacement for our aging wood deck. Josh listened very careful to our needs, and worked very ho*** ** procuring a number of less common items that we wanted for our deck, like Trex horizontal aluminum railings, and more. The crew was very professional, working very hard with no wasted time on extra breaks, doing a very careful job. Our deck is on the second floor, and we feel great about the earthquake straps that Josh recommended, and installed. The work was done exactly on time, and the price was right.

The service was absolutely great. Josh and his brother are great people who take their work very seriously. They were able to replace the deck we had which was falling apart and made the backyard look even better, with a very well built deck, using high quality materials. They are pleasant folks to have around with a great sense of humor, great customer service skills, lots of patience and hard work. We are very happy with the service provided. They did our neighbor’s deck and we were impressed…they did NOT disappoint! I don’t think we could have been happier with our new deck! Would hire them again in a blink of an eye!

In the beginning Josh met with me to discuss my project and answered questions promptly stating that he would back his work and wanted me to be happy with the finished product. He had hard workers and the covered area turned out perfect and happy with the finished product. Once complete, hired him for the deck which was progressing well and overall looks good except for a unstable corner and stair area which is a bit of an eyesore and lacks finishing touches. Important as this is what draws the eyes and visitors comment on the unfinished look. It was clear that towards the end of the project neither he or his supervisor checked the finished or rather unfinished work of the railings. Unfortunately, I was on business travel and when I asked Josh if he could come to discuss solutions he indicated there would be charges for completing the work. I asked shouldn't the finished work be done correctly? Received no answer and while I believe there are minor solutions and now being ghosted (sad and do hope he is okay). Very disappointed, as I would like nothing better than to provide a good review and refer him to others. Unfortunately he never made it to the finish line.

Josh met with me twice to discuss my project and answered questions promptly via email and texts. His workmanship is top quality, he kept me informed of his schedule and he followed through as planned. He and his assistant are hardworkers and put in long hours. When a supplier was unexpectedly backordered on deck material Josh called numerous suppliers until he found what I wanted. My new deck is sturdy, safe and beautiful.

JW Builders were absolutely awesome to work with. Not only did they build us a beautiful 880sqft composite deck with a custom fit around our Hot tub, they custom built an add on covered patio with an amazing privacy wall, added a landscape retaining planting bed to outline our deck which tied our deck into our yard very nicely!! Very nice contractor to work with!!
