  • RT Total Lawn Care
Very quick response! He gave me an estimate on the spot, some negotiation, and I agreed. That was Friday, fence posts installed on Saturday and fence completed on Monday. I am thrilled! Amazing to work with and I will definitely work with him in the future and refer them to friends and family! Very satisfied

The roofing was done professionally and quickly. We had two houses completely re-roofed. It's the details that were a problem. Hundreds of nails left in the gutters. Workers lunch wrappers thrown on the ground. At one house that was cleaned and ready for sale roofers used the toilet, leaving skid marks in the toilet and drops on the seat and floor. Ruts at both houses in the lawn. The contractor said we needed extensions on our downspouts so water from the upper story wouldn't run across the roof below. I have been trying to get him to install the extensions for over 4 months. Lots of promises but no action

The owner Bob is extremely trustworthy and when he says he is going to do something, he will do it. If, for whatever reason things come up, he makes sure you are kept aware the entire time. He does great work; very professional, courteous and efficient. He returned my call within 24 hours and set up an appt. for the estimate within one week. He was very prompt for our appt and very professional. He also took time to explain all the work that would need to be completed. He called within a few days with the estimate. I was impressed with Bob because the entire job went very smoothly. He was very efficient and neat in his work. I highly recommend him and will use them again in a heartbeat

  • Juan's Landscaping
Juan and his team did an outstanding job on a fence that I needed built. They also did a great jog with landscaping the area under the fence that needed to be leveled out. His team moved quickly and got the job completed in a timely manner. They were very responsive and professional throughout the whole process. The work was great and I am very happy with the results. I will be contacting Juan again for any of my future jobs

Casey is informative, efficient, and punctual. He came up with a fencing solution for us and neighbors. He and his crew kicked butt, and we'd definitely call him again.

  • Rowcliffe's Handyman Svc
He was prompt, very understanding of what I needed and when I needed it. We walked through all the projects, he made a list of everything needed, he and his partner showed up the next day with all the supplies, and immediately went to work. His partner weeded my flower bed while waiting for Casey to complete something else. No idle time was spent. Casey made sure everything was being done to my specifications, they worked hard, and stayed until everything was done. I asked for some additional work at the end of the day and, because he knew I was in a bit of a jam, he came back later the same day to complete what I needed. I'd hire this guy full-time if I could afford it. I highly recommend Casey and have already scheduled him to come back to do more work. A+++ guy

The whole reason I am doing this review is because Rob was honest with us. Even though it meant he didn't get any work from us, he walked me around and showed me exactly why the fence would not contain our dog, and why it would look terrible on our bumpy and sloping yard. He did offer some alternative fencing ideas which WOULD work, and gave us a very competitive bid for those (still cheaper for materials and install of a sturdy wooden picket-style fence than our other bids for materials and install of a simple field fence). The most important and valuable thing was that he gave us the benefit of his knowledge and experience, and helped us make a decision that was right for us, rather than just doing what we asked and letting us feel stupid afterwards when it looked bad. We went around our area afterwards and looked at installed field fences, and we could see that Rob was exactly right about what a mistake it would have been for us to do one. Instead, we decided to follow Rob's advice and install our invisible fence. It truly is the best option for us, and I'm so impressed and grateful that Rob was more concerned about our satisfaction with the finished product than whether or not he got the job. Even though he didn't end up doing a fence for us, I recommend him to anyone considering a yard fence. He has a good deal of experience and expertise, and he will help you make the best decision for your needs. It's such a relief to find someone that helpful and honest that I just had to do a review. It was a free estimate, but I hope this review will help repay Rob for his professionalism and time and honest advice. We will absolutely call Rob for any future fencing needs

  • Northwest Fence Inc
"B" grade for quality is not for there work, it's for not explaining that the fence line needed to be graded. They said the fence line needed to be cleared. I hired someone to clear the brush but they did a poor job of grading. This lead to an uneven surface that left low areas under the fence. NW tried to fix the gaps and did a lot of extra work that was much appreciated. The people doing the fence line clearing caused me to lose my first scheduled start date. NW is so busy that I dared not reschedule while I brought someone in to "grade the fence line. _x000D_|As the customer I should have known about the grading and how important it was, I didn't and a lot of problems could have been avoided if it would have been explained. I would use NW fence again with out hesitation

Fencing FAQ

  1. How much does it cost to install a fence?

Answer: The average cost to install a fence is $2,600. A variety of factors will impact the overall cost of fencing installation, such as the length of the fence, the materials you choose, and local labor costs. Fencing projects using the lowest cost materials and with lower labor costs can cost as little as $1 to $6 per linear foot, while projects using the highest cost materials and with higher labor costs may be as high as $15 to $45.

  2. Do I need a permit to build a fence around a yard?

Answer: Whether you’ll need a permit to build a fence around your yard will depend on your city or county's local codes. Many metropolitan and suburban areas require a permit to install most fencing, but they may not for fences situated behind a house as opposed to in front of it or fences that don’t run within a certain distance of the road. To find out if you’ll need a permit to fence your yard, reach out directly to your local government office.

  3. What is the cheapest fence to install?

Answer: The cheapest fencing to install is chain-link fencing. Chain-link fencing is typically cheaper than other fence types because the materials cost less, and installation is generally quicker and easier than other options. Chain-link fencing is affordable, easy to install, and low maintenance. However, it’s usually considered less secure than other options and doesn’t increase resale value as much as fences made of different materials.

  4. Is a wood or vinyl fence cheaper?

Answer: Wood fences are generally cheaper than the cost of vinyl fences. While the cost of materials for wood and vinyl fences is usually very similar, the labor cost associated with installing a vinyl fence is higher. Wood fencing is also easier to install than vinyl fencing, making it possible to save money by making wood fence installation a DIY project. It’s also possible to DIY install a vinyl fence.

  5. What is the life expectancy of a vinyl fence?

Answer: Vinyl fencing can be expected to last between 10 and 30 years. Vinyl fencing is generally low maintenance, but proper care will ensure it lasts as long as possible. Its long life span and high return on investment make vinyl fencing a popular option for many homeowners.

  6. What type of fence adds to the property value?

Answer: Installing quality fencing, no matter the fence type, will generally add value to your property. In general, fences made of longer-lasting, lower-maintenance, and more attractive materials—like wrought-iron, composite, or vinyl—add more value to a property than fences made of lower-cost or less attractive materials, like chain-link. To ensure your fencing adds as much value to your home as possible, be sure it’s properly permitted, approved by your homeowners association (if you have one), and installed properly.
