While "blood" red was considered a "fright or flight" evoking color or symbol of power, home in a thatched shelter of green palm fronds and having some protection from the lush green background vegetation, there was generally peace and relaxation. You can dry pour concrete over existing concrete, but it’s best to use wet pour concrete instead.
