Although Charles was a nice guy, he used the wrong color pavers in multiple areas around my driveway. Upon realizing this and asking about it I was told that I was wrong. However, you can see in the attached photos that two different colors are used in the border. Overall workmanship was good, however, I now have to look at mismatched pavers for the next few decades.

I was very pleased with their response time after submitting my job request on Angi. The owner and crew came when scheduled and were fast, courteous, and efficient,

Recently my sprinkler system stopped working and we needed a contractor to trouble shoot the system and dig up the lines. Being a home owner for 35+ years on Long Island, I have come to realize that many contractors rarely return your voice mail especially if you have a relatively small job Fortunately this is not the case with Giuliano's Landscaping & Design Corp. Not only did they return the call but Charles and his crew passed by my home within a week, located the problem and completed the repair the same day. Unfortunately as luck would have it, a manifold that they installed malfunctioned only after one day. But after I called them about it, they were quick to pass by once again and replace the part. I would highly recommend them

Crew always on time, kept work area tidy and clean at end of every day. Work exceeded our expectations. I interviewed six contractors for this project and Charles was the only contractor that mentioned footers and attaching new stoop to foundation, as it should be done. I called owner, Charles months after completion for matching masonry for another project. He showed up in his truck and unloaded extra pavers and charged me nothing extra. I highly recommend Giuliano's Landscaping and design. I have recommended Charles to neighbors and would use him again.

Charles was extremely professional. He was attentive and responsive to my ?â s and concerns. On time, efficient and best bang for the $. Drainage issue addressed after 25 years of problems. His men were hard workers and easy to work with. No problems whatsoever & I felt my issues addressed and resolved.

Charles is a nice person but his company left my driveway a mess!!! The apron and walkway look wonderful. However, the asphalt paving for the actual driveway is a total debacle. They came back to try to repair the numerous flaws. They tried to remedy the situation with a small torch. Despite their efforts, the driveway was not able to be repaired. I am now left with a beautiful walkway and an atrocious asphalt driveway. When they came to fixing the errors, they probably should have used the big paving machine. The driveway is full of grains that were not melted causing the driveway to be rough and grainy. It is a complete disaster!!!!!

Once the job was started Charles was professional, on time, and a problem solver. His crew worked tirelessly and the job which was complicated finished in a timely manner. Very satisfied

You can probably get a better price but you wonâ  t find a better company to work with. Charles was there every day with great ideas. The work was done to perfection and people arr constantly stopping to tell me how great my house looks. Make the call you wonâ  t regret it!

Charles and his team quoted us a fair price for doing our patio installation which consisted of removing an old concrete sidewalk then excavation and installation of over 1000 square feet of patio blocks. The entire job was completed in approximately 2 1/2 days. Charles was on site for the entire project which allowed us to make minor changes during the project. Once the installation was completed the surrounding area was graded and grass was planted. So if you are considering an update your back yard and want it done right Giulianoâ  s Landscaping and Design group is your best choice.

To start off with Charles was always on time and was patient and courteous with me when I was trying to figure out what I wanted done and when I have questions. He also gave some great recommendations too. Charles and his crew were all professional and did great work. They were on time, did quality work and always left my yard clean and secured at the end of the day. There were a few changes along the way (probably from going off verbal discussions and not drawing or sketches). But everything worked out great. They really transformed the patio area around my pool from looks okay from a distance to great from anywhere. Even though I was away when much of the work was going on and Charles kept me informed of what was going on. Price was competitive and in line with quotes from others. What got Charles the job was he answered my questions and returned my calls.

Charles and his team are exactly what you hope to find. Courteous, hard working professionals. From beginning to end, did an incredible job. This is the 3rd time we hired them to do work on our house. Our neighbor also hired them to do their driveway and a retainer wall and it came out beautifully. Iâ m glad to have found these guys. 100% satisfied.

Giulianoâ s landscaping has done a great deal of work in our yard over the past 4 years. We have repeatedly gone back to Charles for any landscaping/landscaping design as we continue to develop our home. Most recently Charles revised our old sprinkler system, provided landscape design, and installed additional backyard landscaping; grass, trees, shrubs, planting and a bluestone pebble utility side yard, after we had a patio installed. Lastly, Giulianoâ s paved our driveway with a beautifully done herringbone cobblestone apron. Giulianoâ s landscaping is an excellent company with a dedicated and professional owner. I have recommended their services to our friends and family, who have all had very positive experiences as well. Iâ m sure we will have more projects for Charles and his team in the future, there is no one else I would use! I Highly recommend them!!

Our driveway came out amazing. They came timely and were exceptional. Did everything thing we asked and more. The work they did was excellent. The crew was hard working and very neat. They will be back here for more projects to come for sure.

Giuliano;s Landacaping left my driveway a complete mess. It is patchy, grainy, uneven, nonuniform, splotchy and a total eyesore. It is a total disaster!

It was a fairly big job for a residential property. They cut down about 8 trees and removed a huge patch of forsythia. During the estimate, we were told they would remove the forsythia root and all. However, at the walk through once they were done, they had only cut all the forsythia at the base, which is pointless for forsythia. After a fair amount of discussion and back and forth, they ultimately did what they promised initially, but then charged us an extra 1000 for "clean up". Ultimately, they estimated 2 days of work and it took 4 so I guess they probably didn't make as much money as they planned but thus is why you get a detailed estimate. We also needed to get one of the tree stumps reground a year later.

I contracted with Giulianoâs Landscaping and Design to remove and fill in an in-ground pool, remove a large cement patio, install a paver patio, replace a brick retaining wall around a raised patio, and install PVC fencing and gate, install sod and sprinklers. The primary reason for choosing them is they claimed to be able to do the entire job and they had excellent reviews. I must say that I found Charles to be very nice and his crew was very hard working. The entire job took slightly more than a month to be completed but was filled with numerous episodes of carelessness and refusal to follow instructions. I could go into the details of all these instances but this review would be far too long. I will however summarize my complaints. The work began 6 weeks after the contractual start date because of a variety of avoidable excuses. The demo of the patio resulted in a 10 ft. section of my home foundation wall being shattered. It had to be removed and rebuilt. Two downspouts were torn off the house. Two vinyl siding corners were fractured. An electrical conduit pipe and a sprinkler line were severed. Metal feet used to secure 8 steel columns to the patio were torn off and thrown out. A vinyl 4 ft. gate was hung backward even after I gave specific instructions for the installation. The contract stipulated a 5ft. gate. Charles refused to correct it. Plants were put aside to be replanted but they threw them out. Stairs to a raised patio were reduced from 3 to 2. about a drainage issue. This caused steel railings and steel handrails to need to be cut down and re-fitted to the patio. They did not lift a finger to do this work. They repaired the dirt driveway that they created with their trucks but ran out of sod and did not finish the repair. I hope this gives you better insight into whether or not to choose this contractor. Unfortunately, I am not finished with Giulianos Landscaping and Design. I have a court date for Breach of Contract.

Charles was very professional and he and his crew did excellent work. Our sod yard looks great. In the process of removing the old turf a sprinkler connection was damaged. When I called Charles about it he came back the next day and fixed it.
