"Terrible job. Very sloppy with smudges and uneven lines at juncion of different colors, i.e., ceiling and wall, wall and door frame. Coats of paint applied unevenly and spray paint on furniture which hadn't been adequatly protected. I had to pay another painter to rectify it at the cost of another $2,500. Also his painted painted the window shutters open which ruined them. They cost $300. Anthony said he would refund but of course did not. I have never written a bad review of anyone in my life and it doesn't feel good but his blatant disregard for any kind of professional standard is really gauling and I don't want anyone else be ripped off as I was."

The time it takes to prep and paint a room depends wholly on the project's details. Priming over old exterior paint is fine if the original paint is not cracked, chipped, and peeling. When that is the case, you need to scrape it off and sand first. In many cases, you can sleep in a room painted with low-VOC paint on the same day you painted it. You’ll want to give it at least 10 hours to allow any lingering chemicals to dissipate. However, it can still have an odor for about a day after painting, so you may want to add extra ventilation or adjust your sleeping arrangements if you’re particularly sensitive. 

No-VOC paint is generally odorless and won’t emit toxic chemicals, so it’s even safer and more comfortable to sleep near after a fresh paint job.

You can use latex or acrylic paint outdoors. Although acrylic paint tends to last longer outside, it also costs more, so if you’re painting the outside of your house, for instance, latex paint is often a go-to option. However, acrylic will be your best choice if you want to spend some extra money for added durability.

Unlike high or semi-gloss paint finishes, which can create an excessively reflective effect in indoor spaces, the sheen in satin is understated and right at home on interior walls. If, on the other hand, you don’t want any level of shine at all, consider opting for a flat paint or another similarly sheenless alternative like matte.
