I have a 5 point philosophy of connecting with my clients. I would not be here without you. I encourage my clients to ask questions...I'll never talk down to you if you ask a question, as you deserve to know. If you see something you don't like with the job, please bring it to my attention immediately. I cannot correct what I don't know. It's not fair to either of us to have me finish something that you don't like or want... especially if you could have averted the problem earlier by simply asking "what the heck?" I don't mark up on materials. My job is install em, not sell em, but I am on the clock,at my lowest rate, to get them. My rates are:45$/hr for general work, 65 for technical work like plumbing/electrical/propane, and 85 for sewer line work, because nobody likes playing in poo. I don't mark up on materials. I am on the clock to get them, though. I have a 2hr minimum, in lieu of a service charge, so make a list! I have discounts for Veterans and Seniors.

"Robert fixed my dryer, which was not working correctly on and off over the last few months. He identified the issue quickly and got the job done in one visit. Hard work, done well."

"He sprayed a brown inferior product on my lovely gray aged cedar shingled roof ruining the entire look of my gray cedar paneled home. His men walked on my roof breaking aged shingles though had promised would not do so. Brought commercial lift for man to use on 1 story house which cost way more than necessary and dug up driveway and grass. Lied about product and application and when called on it during application by homeowner ignored and continued with HIS way with disasterous results to homeowner's home. Unreliable and argumentative and looking for cheapest way to do job not homeowner's wishes. Don't ever use him as painter."

Interior Painting questions, answered by experts

Yes, it is advisable to prime a driveway before painting. Primer serves as a preparatory step, promoting better paint adhesion to the surface, enhancing durability, and ensuring a smoother, more even finish. Priming is essential for concrete driveways as they are porous and absorb paint unevenly without proper priming. Skipping this step may result in a less durable and less aesthetically pleasing paint job, requiring more frequent repainting.

While it may surprise you, the best time to paint the interior of your home is not during the warm open-window months, but rather during the late fall or even winter. This is because the cooler months offer ideal humidity conditions for painting. Lower humidity and cooler temperatures means faster drying time and better paint adhesion.

Painting in ideal temperatures (between 60 and 70 degrees Fahrenheit) with moderate humidity and ample ventilation is the best way for your paint to dry properly. You can turn on box fans and crack open windows to add circulation, but be sure no dust or debris gets on your wet walls. In the end, it’s best to be patient and ensure your paint is fully dry before applying a second coat or moving items back into a room.

You can’t paint a foundation like you would the walls in your home; there are a few extra important steps to take. Instead of just busting out the paint, you should clean the surface and fix any impurities before grabbing the brush. Using a paint sprayer to apply sealant and primer will ensure you have the perfect canvas to apply your chosen paint color.

Whether or not you should paint your interior doors is really up to you. If you want a more natural, rustic appearance, consider staining your doors instead of painting. Note that this is often only possible for solid-core doors. If you’re finishing a hollow-core door, these often come pre-primed and are meant to receive a coat of paint before going up in your home.
