"As someone building a second home in Vt., everything needed to be done from a 235 mile distance. This can feel a little scary. My experience w/ Joe was Outstanding!!! Joe approaches all his tasks whether it be contract work or time & material work w/ the same set of ethics. "If I could give 6 stars I would. Jack sanded my two decks, reinforced wobbly railings, replaced rotten boards, and stained all boards and railings. I was tempted to do some of this work myself until I realized I could not lift the sander. I am so glad I did not. Jack knew exactly how to fix the railings. He knew to recess the deck screws before sanding. He knew not to sand the deck until the moisture content reached a certain level. In short, I would have been totally out of my element if I had tried this work alone. I would hire Jack again in a nanosecond. He is knowledgeable, diligent, reliable, personable, and from what I saw, a highly skilled carpenter."
