He kept us in the loop the entire time, was super responsive whenever we had a question, and clearly knows his stuff. I recently hired Jeff Lemire to replace the tile floor in my entryway and couldn't be more impressed with the results. From start to finish the job went seamlessly. He was professional and courteous and walked me through the process explaining all of my options and making knowledgeable suggestions for the space. The work was completed on time and the quality of the craftmanship is outstanding with great attention to detail.

Jeff did a great job with our projects. He completed each project with experience, knowledge, and attention to detail. He installed hardwood floors, tiled our master bathroom, removed wallpaper, and painted the interior of our house. The tiling and hardwood install were precise, with no margin for error. The painting looks great. We would definitely hire Jeff again!

Couldn't be happier. We have a 1792 home that is a historical local landmark and needed to select the right person to help restore the exterior. Jeff went above and beyond our expectations. His wealth of knowledge really came through in his work and we loved having him here. We have made preliminary arrangements to have him work on several more projects in the future. We highly recommend his expertise and services.

Jeff did an excellent job handling many different aspects of a complete home renovation. He built and tiled a custom shower with bench, drywalled and finished the ceiling and walls in the basement, and painted the interior of the home. There is not one aspect of a home that I wouldn't trust Jeff to be able to address.

We hired Jeff based on reviews from Angie's List. We wanted our basement converted to 2 bedrooms, bath, and workshop. Based on already roughed-in plumbing, he completed the job with help from a plumber and electrician. In order to comply with window egress codes, he built benches in both bedrooms beneath the windows, after replacing the windows with compliant models - by crawling under a 3-ft deck. He was punctual, reliable, and we trusted him in our home. He is quiet and straightforward, and he provided us with itemized invoices. He is about to begin a second bathroom renovation for us and we have hired him for a partial garage re-build. We recommend Jeff with no reservations - from framing to painting to carpentry.

Not one problem, no kidding. In 20 degree weather, snow, Jeff and his team were up on the scaffolding framing out my house. It began around December 1 and finished by July...much of the work, after initial framing was done by him alone. Shows up every day on time...every day! If he is not coming, he will tell you, Works and only stops for lunch...not kidding. Honest, trustworthy, keeps his word and frankly under priced for the quality of the work. And yes...when I was not home while he was working (which was often) he walked my dog.

Jeff of Ridge Top did great work on our condo in Quechee. We had had frozen pipes repaired during the winter, and there was a large area of ceiling that had been repaired, but not finished. All of the painters (including Jeff) we had in to provide estimates noted that matching the existing texture would be very difficult, and we'd be able to see the repair. As it turned out, Jeff did a wonderful job matching the existing texture, and you truly cannot see where the repair was done. Your mileage may vary, of course, but it was perfect work for me.

We also had the entire unit repainted, including kitchen cabinets.All work was done very well, and the unit was left clean when the work was done. I found just a couple of runs on the cabinet doors (and no other issues at all) and while Jeff would have come back to fix, it was just easier for me to sand down and touch up with the leftover paint..

Price was very reasonable, especially given the high quality of work. Jeff at Ridge Top will be my go-to painter for future work, and we have already asked him to come back in the Fall for additional ceiling painting.

Jeff proved to be an excellent carpenter; reliable and honest; he shows up when he promises and works solidly through the day. Stays with the job until it is completed.  I definitely would use him again for any future project.

I thought he did a nice job.  He was easy to work with and I liked him.  His price was reasonable.  It was fine.  I would consider him in the future.

The garage is approximately 17 years old and was never painted after it was build.  The trim boards were very dry and some were rotted.  Jeff replaced the rotten boards and put 2 coats of stain on both the trim and siding. I could'nt be happier with the results.  Jeff was a pleasure to deal with and would recommend his services to anyone in need of carpentry or painting services.

Superb job.  Jeff took pains to make sure the tile work was measured and fit correctly.  This entailed a lot of detailed and intricate work.   Since the tiles needed to fit symmetrically.  It is FLAWLESS!   He also installed crown molding...also flawless!  Always on time, and always ready to get the job done.

The job went great. We are pleased with the look, quality and thoroughness of the finished product. All painted surfaces look like they will last a long time. Jeff is cordial and knowledgeable and we will turn to him for any future work.

I looked into Angie's list because I was having a difficult time finding anyone that would do repairs/painting at our house in Vt. There I found Ridge Top Painting and Carpentry. I called Jeff, who lived almost an hour from us, to give us an estimate and put us into his schedule. The work that Jeff Lemire did was superior. His estimate was very accurate, including some unforeseen problems once he started the work.

He left the job clean, as if he was never there.

I can't speak highly enough regarding Jeff Lemires's work. I've worked with various contractors throughout my career and have never come across one who is not only thoroughly trained and talented in the trade but who is also scrupulously honest and trust worthy. I have reviewed a number of individuals with whom I've conducted business in the upper valley but never anyone who so richly deserves a perfect score.. This gentleman deserves only those clients who understand and appreciate quality at its best at a fair and reasonable price.

Mr. Lemire's way of working was quiet, self-sufficient and considerate. He was careful and frugal with materials and took time to explain steps. This job was a first rate return on my investment in home maintenance.

This job went very well.  Jeff's described work and our expectations were met completely.  Jeff took care of a number of extra items, i.e. cleaning the deposits off the edge of the metal roof, painting the chimney which was not originally included in his bid, and fixed some things that could only be reached by using the hydraulic lift such as removing an old TV dish at the peak of the roof. Jeff is friendly and easy to be around.  He is quiet - no loud 'contractor radio' music.  We would recommend him highly and, in fact, are looking for him to do some carpentry work inside the house in the spring.

Jeff is absolutely the best contractor that I ever worked with in the last 8 years. He showed up on time, worked very very hard, did beautiful work and is extremely nice and very honest. He pays attention to detail. He is very clean and cleaned everything up. I spent the whole weekend looking at my newly stained deck. It is so beautiful, I just cannot get over it. After my experience with Jeff, it will be hard for me to ever want to work with another contractor. I guess that is why he is so busy. Since I had a small job, he was able to fit me in. In today's world, it is hard to find someone who is honest and ethical. I am just so happy that I did.
