Customers say: Super punctual

"Couldn't be happier. We have a 1792 home that is a historical local landmark and needed to select the right person to help restore the exterior. Jeff went above and beyond our expectations. His wealth of knowledge really came through in his work and we loved having him here. We have made preliminary arrangements to have him work on several more projects in the future. We highly recommend his expertise and services."

"Prompt response… very professional! I have been without a sink for two weeks, called a few companies and no follow up.. Tejadas was able to fit me in right away.. they were at my home on time and did a great job cutting my granite countertop and positioned my sink to get installed by the plumber… I would definitely hire them again for any future jobs"

"They weren't able address part of my project which included fixing a bulkhead wall, and masonry. I wanted to have it all addressed project by project and discovered that there was more damage to one of the walls that needed fixing. As they weren't concrete 'masons', they wouldn't be able to fully address that before installing a drainage system. It was all within my budget. I just didn't want to have the drainage system installed and have it fail because due to the mortar crumbling. The person that went to my house spent a considerable amount of time. He was knowledgeable, courteous, and not pushy. It wasn't until I had another contractor come through that I realized that what I had initially planned on was not going to work. When I went to cancel, the person that handled my estimate was concerned that I was cancelling and that I was being given "bad advice" from another contractor. I thanked him for the time he spent, and the information that he gave me, and sent my cancellation form. I would have hired them had they been able to fully address the entire project(s)."

Plumbing questions, answered by experts

Visible frost on exposed pipes or unusual cold spots indicate an imminent burst in Randolph homes. Slow drains across multiple fixtures or soggy ground near your drain field signal severe septic system failure. Additionally, rust-colored water points to active corrosion in older pipes. Address gurgling sounds from toilets immediately, as this points to a blocked vent stack during freezing winter weather.

Helpful?

Postponing plumbing repairs leads to catastrophic burst pipes and extensive water damage during severe winter weather. Ignored early warning signs rapidly progress to complete septic system failure, requiring extensive drain field replacement. Furthermore, unaddressed leaks saturate older stone foundations common in Randolph, causing structural damage. Hire a local professional to fix issues promptly and protect your Vermont property from mold growth.

Helpful?

A major mistake during plumbing projects is underestimating the severe freeze risk in unheated spaces during renovations. Homeowners in Randolph also fail to fully winterize seasonal properties, causing severe burst pipes. Additionally, ignoring the effects of hard water on pipe connections accelerates corrosion. Always secure required permits before starting work to ensure your system meets strict Vermont standards.

Helpful?

Leaving garden hoses connected to outdoor spigots throughout winter prevents proper draining and causes burst pipes near the foundation. Repeatedly using chemical drain cleaners accelerates corrosion in older galvanized pipes common in Randolph homes. Furthermore, flushing wipes or grease severely damages rural septic systems. Maintain a steady indoor temperature during Vermont winters to protect pipes in exterior walls.

Helpful?

Underground plumbing is highly sensitive to errors due to the deep frost line in VT. You must bury water service lines at least four feet deep to prevent freezing. Additionally, properly insulate pipes running through unheated spaces like basements or attached barns. Address gaps at foundation entry points immediately to protect your entire system against harsh winter temperatures.
