He replaced a rotted out door and entryway, resurfaced a floor, dry walled an area where a sky light had been removed, and reframed the area under a toilet that was caving in, painting along the way. And he is repairing my crumbling deck! Luckily he is a "frugal Yankee" and constantly looks for ways to save you money. And, as he says, he leaves your house cleaner and in better shape than when he arrived. Highly recommend!"

"If I could give 6 stars I would. Jack sanded my two decks, reinforced wobbly railings, replaced rotten boards, and stained all boards and railings. I was tempted to do some of this work myself until I realized I could not lift the sander. I am so glad I did not. Jack knew exactly how to fix the railings. He knew to recess the deck screws before sanding. He knew not to sand the deck until the moisture content reached a certain level. In short, I would have been totally out of my element if I had tried this work alone. I would hire Jack again in a nanosecond. He is knowledgeable, diligent, reliable, personable, and from what I saw, a highly skilled carpenter."

Kept me updated through every step of the way from the permit process, ordering materials and check-ins as the build was happening. Our fence is great! He also completed a custom railing and gate to attach to our existing deck. Will definitely be using we do it all again for future projects."
