"I called this service to clean a portion of my bedroom carpet that had been soiled with make up. The person who answered the phone was very professional and knowledgeable. She set up an appointment with her husband, Alan Pidderman who arrived right on time to the minute. The first perfect score. He shampooed the rug in less than an hour at a very reasonable cost. Another perfect score. The rug now looks new, once again. I can’t say enough about how pleased I am with the experience. I will call them again when I need anything done. They perform many other services besides cleaning, services I expect many need. I highly recommend Gold Star service."

Small jobs welcome

Offers commercial services

My name is Jay Scannell and I enjoy cleaning and making things spotless. My mother always made sure our house was clean as I was growing up and naturally I have liked to follow those similar footsteps and take it that one step further. I’d enjoy cleaning for you and your family if need be and I am open to anything you throw at me:).

Sonic Cleaning questions, answered by experts

The best time of year for roof cleaning depends on your local climate, but generally, late spring, summer, or early autumn are ideal. Plan to clean your roof on a day with dry weather and moderate temperatures.

Late spring and early summer are excellent for cleaning off grime accumulated after a snowy winter or wet spring. Summer often provides the necessary dry conditions, though in very hot climates, late spring may be more comfortable. Alternatively, cleaning in late autumn can clear away debris like leaves and branches before winter.

Avoid cleaning your roof when it is cold enough for water to freeze, as this can cause dangerous ice buildup.

While spotting a bit of algae on your roof may not bother you at first glance, it is certainly bothering your roof shingles. The presence of algae can cause decay and shorten the lifespan of your roof’s shingles, which can lead to much bigger problems down the road. While this issue may seem cosmetic at first glance, it goes much deeper than that.

Maintenance involves regular inspection of connections and cables, ensuring they are free from obstructions and functioning correctly to avoid ice buildup.

Chemical herbicides will kill moss permanently. The same goes with bleach water. However, moss can start growing again once a new layer of dirt and debris is caught in your sand in paver joints. Therefore, the problem is not about killing moss permanently, but ensuring effective prevention of moss regrowth.

Flat roofs are a solid option for people who want extra outdoor space. Flat roofs are very common in other parts of the world and only recently has the U.S. started to see the benefit in the increased space. Flat roofs are also easier to maintain and pose much less of a safety risk, which allows for more DIY work for handy homeowners. Some people also build green or living roofs that grow plant life.
