"Installers arrived on time and worked very hard and efficiently. Project took two days since in addition to the shower conversion they also installed a new LVP floor and a new toilet. Rafael and his assistant were top notch and left the house and work area clean even at the end of the first day. I highly recommend them if you are considering a project. They made an effort to minimize the time water was shutoff as well."

Customers say: Super punctual

"Couldn't be happier. We have a 1792 home that is a historical local landmark and needed to select the right person to help restore the exterior. Jeff went above and beyond our expectations. His wealth of knowledge really came through in his work and we loved having him here. We have made preliminary arrangements to have him work on several more projects in the future. We highly recommend his expertise and services."

"Quinton did all of our plumbing for our kitchenette install. He also did the gas work. Quinton did a great job communicating with us and his pricing was upfront and there were no surprises. The Suburban Gas crew who came out to turn on our fuel commented on what a good job he did as well."

"Highly recommended. Jose and Cesar were great. They were reliable and their work was excellent. They completely remodeled our condo including 4 bathrooms, floors, fireplace/hearth, etc. It was a big job and they worked with us to make sure everything came out exactly the way we wanted. The cost was very reasonable."

"They weren't able address part of my project which included fixing a bulkhead wall, and masonry. I wanted to have it all addressed project by project and discovered that there was more damage to one of the walls that needed fixing. As they weren't concrete 'masons', they wouldn't be able to fully address that before installing a drainage system. It was all within my budget. I just didn't want to have the drainage system installed and have it fail because due to the mortar crumbling. The person that went to my house spent a considerable amount of time. He was knowledgeable, courteous, and not pushy. It wasn't until I had another contractor come through that I realized that what I had initially planned on was not going to work. When I went to cancel, the person that handled my estimate was concerned that I was cancelling and that I was being given "bad advice" from another contractor. I thanked him for the time he spent, and the information that he gave me, and sent my cancellation form. I would have hired them had they been able to fully address the entire project(s)."

Plumbing questions, answered by experts

Pot fillers are often outfitted with cold water only. When you need water for boiling, always choose cold water because hot water may contain more dissolved minerals from the pipe, offsetting the flavor of the food. In kitchens where the filler is used often, it may make sense to route hot water too, but this is rare, and even professional kitchens seldom have this option installed.

A plumbing emergency is a problem that threatens to severely damage your home or put your family at risk if not addressed immediately. If leaving the issue until regular business hours will cause more damage, it's an emergency. Examples include burst pipes, major leaks, significant drain clogs, a lack of hot water, a suspected gas leak, an out-of-control water heater, or a sewer line backup forcing gases into your home. Many home insurance policies will cover sudden and unexpected plumbing emergencies, provided they are not caused by homeowner negligence.

Unfortunately, yes. If your well pump continues working when the flow of water is completely blocked, the motor will burn up. The energy has nowhere to go, thanks to the blockage, so it turns inward. The end result? A ruined well pump and a depleted bank account (once you shop for a replacement.)

Schedule regular inspections, fix minor issues promptly, and ensure proper drainage.

Although air in your water lines won’t affect the overall quality of your water, it will lead to problems with your well water system if not addressed. Over time, too much air in your water lines can create blockages in your pipes, cause insufficient water flow to your taps and appliances, loosen pipes, and potentially damage important components of your well including your well pump and pressure tank.
