Im a military veteran looking to build my relationship with the community while building trust through my work. Ive worked with companies from corporate to local levels and have watched people get taking through loop holes for basic repairs by being offered the easy replacement option. I love learning new things about how houses were built and ways I can improve the living conditions for the homeowner. \n\nIve done work for affordable housing servicing hundreds of residents to helping customers with growing visions. "They were very good. They came by and did the work; I was very pleased with them. They were responsive and very detailed oriented. They cleaned up beautifully and they did exactly what they said they would. Their staff members were exactly what I expected. They were good, polite and nice to work with. I was very happy with them and I was happy enough to take a box of doughnuts down each morning to share with them. They were doing a good job and working extra hard under very difficult conditions. It was expensive because I wanted all the bells and whistles. I had a significant problem but their solution to the problem was far more comprehensive than anyone else that I got into to look at. They took it far more seriously and identified a basement wall that needed reinforcing. I was pleased with the entire proposal. I got lower quotes but did not feel that other people understood the problem as well. I got the value for money because I really don’t know how they could have done it for less when I saw what was involved."

Epoxy Flooring questions, answered by experts

When you’re painting a garage floor, it’s best to use a combination of rollers and brushes. You’ll want to start with a brush, making a border around the edges where the floor meets the wall. From there you can use a roller, though some people also like to do the entire first coat with a brush because it’s easier to work the paint into the textured concrete.

You’ll usually need to prime a garage floor before painting—especially if the floor is unpainted. Garage floors are made from concrete, which is porous and produces dust. The dust can contaminate the paint and cause issues with adherence.

Primer creates a barrier and gives you a clean surface to work on. It also minimizes absorption to help give you an even, pro-looking paint job. Make sure you choose a primer that’s specifically designed to cover concrete flooring.

You can seal a concrete slab by cleaning the surface, filling in any cracks, etching the surface, applying a sealer, and letting it dry. Concrete slabs don't typically need sealing, but you can use a topical concrete sealer if you notice signs of water damage. If you haven't already fixed the cause of the leak, then you'll want to repair the plumbing before you seal a concrete slab.

Unlike staining concrete, painting concrete often results in chips and peeling over time. You can expect numerous touchups over the years if the concrete is in a high-traffic area. Since concrete paints are opaque, you may also find it more difficult to get the exact color results you want. Lastly, painting concrete can make it much more slippery unless you mix in an additive for traction.

Epoxy tends to be the most durable concrete finish, holding up on garage and shop floors for years. Epoxy seals the slab's surface, will run into any cracks and crevices, and can help to level the surface, so it tends to be a durable finish for most applications. The downside to epoxy is that it can be difficult to remove once applied.
