But when I walked inside my home you didn't even know they were there. everything was placed back to where it belonged, there was no mess to vacuum. He matched our paint exactly and purchased premium quality products. He went out of his way to order the correct siding boards, taking time to do it correctly. His team was able to tackle all the additional work that popped up including replacing the gutters, changing exterior light fixtures, removing and repairing an old wall exhaust, replacing old shutters and adding trim to the chimney. There were a few delays in the work mostly due to the weather but otherwise he managed time and supplies very well. Will be using him again for my other work inside the house!"

"We contracted with Castle for window replacement in January. The windows were replaced within 2 months of signing the contract. The installations went smoothly and the windows made a huge improvement to our home. Problems did arise when they were unloading the windows from the truck. We had requested contoured grilles but the windows arrived with flat grilles. We opted for a discount rather than return the windows. The second issue was that we had requested full screens for the front of the house. Castle sent someone out measure after installation, not using the original measurements. This was 2 months after the fact. Then we received a call from the factory, that the order had been placed without the measurements. We had to supply them. 3 months later, we have still not received the full screens. We had an appointment for their install that Castle cancelled due to a technician calling out. Rescheduling was set for another month out. It will be a generous 4 months from the original installation to get the screens that we ordered. Pretty disappointed. For such a minor fix, it has taken too long to correct."

"Our 28 year old home was in dire need of updated bathrooms and we contacted KDK Home Improvements through researching of Angie's List.  Our planned bath updates snowballed to include additional work which wasn't in the initial plan, but was very obviously needed as we progressed.  Dave Kammerude was very accomodating and understanding with each phase and introduced us to very competent plumber(Tommy Anglin), electrician (Mike Renfro) and carpenter (which happens to be his brother Jeff Heflin of New Shelter Construction).  All of these guys were a pleasure to work with and even they, along with Dave, have put in weekend days to get the job complete to accomodate our schedules and the completion of this major renovation project.  Jeff of New Shelter Construction installed new tongue and groove ceiling and skylights in our great room, wood paneling in our hallway and installed new windows and doors and wood flooring.  He did an excellent job and was very fast in completing each job.  Our thanks to Dave for introducing us to Jeff  and Tommy and Mike, too.  Dave did a beautiful job of resealing our logs in the great room of our home after he and Jeff used a "cornblaster" to remove years of dirt and dust to reveal beautiful wood underneath. Our project is nearing completion after three months of work and Dave has been an excellent communicator throughout the whole process. He will be coming back to do a kitchen backsplash and some additional exterior painting.  He went the extra mile in procuring materials and researching so that our home looks great!  We will recommend and  use him in the future."
