"They were prompt with a quote. The follow up email was professional to check on my decision. They showed up on time, had great customer service and didn't leave until I was satisfied with the work. The brick came out great. The mold was gone, the rust was gone. The brick looks brand new."

Customers say: Quality work

"Michael was on time, very professional and efficient. Our house, driveway and walk-up had not been cleaned for several years and were in great need of cleaning. Michael did a thorough, first rate job, with real skill, respecting all surfaces. He clearly had experience and knew what techniques to use for each surface for optimum results. Our brick has a sand finish and he knew how to control the level of pressure and what to apply so not to damage it. He stayed a good part of the day to do the job right without change to his quoted reasonable price. Now our house looks like new! I'd highly recommend his service."

"I had a great experience with the team that assisted me with my water damage. From the beginning, they were professional, responsive, and made a stressful situation much easier to deal with. They took the time to explain what needed to be done, answered my questions, and handled everything with care and attention to detail. What impressed me most was the communication and customer service. I always felt informed about what was happening and what the next steps would be. The crew was courteous, knowledgeable, and respectful of my home throughout the entire process. Dealing with water damage is never something you want to go through, but having the right people there makes a huge difference. I truly appreciate the service I received and would definitely recommend them to anyone needing water damage restoration services. 5 stars — thank you for taking such great care of me and my home!"

Cleaning questions, answered by experts

While both jobs go hand-in-hand when decluttering your home, professional organizers and cleaners do different jobs. A professional organizer will look at the project and set up the space to maximize it with storage and functional efficiency. A cleaner might do some organizing in the home, but their main task is to make sure it remains clean and free of garbage. If you want to put everything in its place, hire an organizer. If you want sparkling floors and dust-free surfaces, hire a cleaner.

One of the best ways to prepare for a home biohazard cleanup is not to touch anything. Do not remove belongings, even if they are of value or importance, from the area as they are likely contaminated. It’s essential not to use any cleaning products of your own, as the cleaning company will be using chemicals that could interact with your products.

One thing you can do to prepare is take pictures of your space and belongings that need to be cleaned, especially if you plan on filing a claim with your insurance company. In addition, take time to make a list of items that are valuable, sentimental, or otherwise important. The cleanup company must evaluate these belongings to make sure they are safe.

The self-cleaning oven mode turns the heat in your oven up to 500 degrees Fahrenheit to incinerate any stuck-on food or grease. This process can make your home uncomfortably hot for several hours. It can also emit unpleasant smells in the house and release carbon monoxide. It can be irritating to people with respiratory conditions. Never leave the house unattended when using the self-cleaning oven feature.

These hardworking scrubbers should be replaced every six months. Most toilet brushes have nylon bristles, and over time, these bristles can bend, fray, or fall out, reducing the effectiveness of the brush. Silicone brushes hold their shape longer, but the softer bristles are less effective at removing residue and build-up. To clean your toilet brush after use, spray it with a disinfecting cleaner and let it air dry by closing the handle under the toilet seat and letting the brush head drip into the toilet bowl.

After clearing away crumbs and other debris, using a store-bought cleaner that is safe for use inside of your refrigerator is the best way to clean your fridge. If you’d rather opt for a DIY solution, we share a great one above using baking soda and vinegar.
