"Said is fraudulently marketing himself and a buddy as a professional AV company, when it is clear they have absolutely no idea how to mount a TV. Said and a buddy spent over five hours reading the TV mount instruction manual, demonstrating a total lack of experience, despite his claims to be an expert registered broker for this mount. It was abundantly clear he was learning on the job, not an actual professional. He used incorrect and bulky trim, instead of cable hiders. And despite being the highest quoted professional, the work was HORRENDOUS. He did not measure or use a level to install the mount above the mantel leaving it crooked and significantly off center (by more than 6 inches). Then he used some cheap, mismatched and bulky wall molding instead of cable hiders plastering them unevenly and crooked across and down the mantel. The mount was a pull down mount, but he did it incorrectly and told me he had to call the company to learn how to do it. I hired him over a month ago, and this is still not finished because he keeps canceling appointments to fix it. I was entirely sympathetic when he canceled an hour after he was supposed to arrive because he was not feeling well, but then I realized this was a trend. The next time he was unavailable because of the weather. After that, he had another client. This has gone on and on for a month… that is not how you treat a client who has paid you in full. You prioritize completing the job for which you ve been paid. I have had to chase him every single day to make these appointments as he never once has offered a time to do any part of the work once cashing check. Multiple calls and texts, which constantly go ignored, only for him to blow me off last minute after finally confirming."

"Hopeless service, outrageous price. I hired PROTECH PCS, LLC via Angi to organize my home network panel and label Ethernet/coax lines. On the phone, he quoted $150/hr and said location didn’t matter. He showed up late, brought an 8-port switch but no Ethernet cables, shoved wires back into the wall, used me as his tester, and labeled/tested nothing. After about an hour with no real work done, he demanded $600 for 1 hour 10 min., claiming a “$600 minimum” and travel time from Maryland—none of which was disclosed. I negotiated to $450 only if he left the switch; later I found the exact model online for $17. Days later, a pro recommended by my remodel contractor finished the job properly for $300 in under two hours, with real tools, ethernet cables, and clean results. I’ll never use Angi for computer/network work again. Angi should show verified business addresses. High ratings here look suspicious. Avoid this company."

"I had a problem with my old landline phone system. First I called Verizon, but their technician could not solve the problem. Then I contacted CH Tel. Charlie called back promptly and sent a technician, Rick, the same day. Rick was very knowledgeable and thorough. He was able to find the problem and install a new line. While he was here he also solved some long-standing problems I had with loose wires and an open phone box. He was also very respectful of my property and did a good job cleaning up after the work. I would highly recommend this company for low-voltage wiring projects."
