Joe was extremely helpful in making suggestions for drawers, end panels, self-close doors/drawers and crown molding. He provided a full plan of his recommendations along with a quote that we found quite reasonable. When it was time for him to begin he was always prompt, neat and exacting. The end result was amazing! Everything was perfectly fitting, properly adjusted and looked like brand new. There was a significant savings over purchasing all new cabinets of the same quality as the original. Couldn't be happier! "Great! He arrived on time, with the right amount of crew, tools and positive attitude! He was very experienced with Ikea cabinets and knew when we had purchased the wrong items. He also knew when to send me back to Ikea for different parts. Ikea made alot of mistakes and he knew that was common. He wrote down the numbers of the items i needed which was extremely helpful. He and his crew were fantastic and i would hire him again in the future. His prices were very reasonable and i appreciated that. I had two glass doors that were on back order so he said i could hold back $200 from his pay until they czme in. I called him on Sunday and told him i just picked them up. He told me they would be there on Monday morning to finish the job. Of course he arrived on time and he finished the job quickly. Of the 4 companies i hired to do various things in my kitchen his was the only one i didnt have issues with. I asked him to install the lights inside and underneath the cabinets and install the microwave. The lights were difficult but he worked hard until they were done. They make the whole kitchen shine! He was extremely reasonable with the microwave installation price. I asked him for several cards and already passed them out to people that wanted a new kitchen i told them he is the best installer i ever hired. He made this overwhelming project so much easier."

"We had 1970s brown cabinets and wanted them painted white (we chose "chalk white"). Matt provided a good price quote and it was evident he had done the work before and knew how to do the job properly. He and his worker Andrew sealed off the kitchen, carefully taped off the fan and appliances, took of the doors and drawers, sealed the wood knots so they wouldn't bleed through, sprayed the cabinets with a lacquer paint, sprayed the inside of the cabinets, painted the edge of our laminate counter tops, and reattached the factory-refinished cabinet doors with hardware we provided. We also had old-style brown trim that looked dated (but was in good condition). Matt painted this white as well to update the look. Because the cabinets looked so good, we had him paint the walls and ceiling as well (something I had planned on doing, but for a little more money than I'd spend doing it myself it saved a lot of time). We were very happy with the result and it feels like we have a brand new kitchen. Before and after pictures are attached."

She spent more time with us in our first consultation than 4 other companies combined. She made suggestions for the layout and really helped my vision come to life. The owner Bob was very hands on and helped ease my fears taking on this enormous finance and project. I can not say enough how wonderful the work Counter-vations provided. The crew was always respectful, professional, and did amazing work. Communication between the design company, the subcontractors and myself did have some let downs and I felt that we didn’t always have a plan for the day to day and what to expect. There were some problems with the renovation making it go much longer than originally estimated. However, when problems did arise solutions were found and overall we were happy with everything. I am in love with the final product."
