"We were unable to get the variance permission from Fairfax County to allow the construction to proceed (after 2 years of trying). We have tried to cancel the contract with Total Remodeling Systems, and they have been completely unresponsive. We have sent 3 letters, 4 emails, and left half a dozen messages. We cannot get anyone to acknowledge that we want to cancel the contract, and we cannot get anyone to provide us with information about a refund (or partial refund) of our 20% deposit. We have been trying for 6 MONTHS to get a response. NOTHING!!!"

After several unreturned phone calls and emails, we were told that our file was mixed up with someone else’s and they never submitted the permit paperwork. Finally received our permit and waiting on concrete install. We were told they forgot that they were supposed to arrange the concrete which resulted in more delays. We finally cancelled. This company is the most unprofessional company we have ever dealt with."
