"One oven doesn't work at all ( my choice, see above), the "working" oven was never calibrated properly so using it is hit or miss. It's time to call American Home Shield to see about replacing the entire unit. I'm waiting to finish other home projects before calling them. I don't know if I'll request Greenway again."

There are pros and cons of in-ground vs. above-ground pools, which you should consider when choosing the pool of your summertime dreams. Some factors to think about include: 

  • Above-ground pools are semi-permanent and movable, whereas in-ground pools are permanent structures.

  • In-ground pools are more expensive to install than above-ground pools. 

  • It takes one to three days to install above-ground pools and several weeks for an in-ground pool install.

  • You can install an above-ground pool in smaller yards, but you need plenty of space for an in-ground pool.

You can find a leak in an in-ground pool by doing a visual check, the bucket test, and a dye test. Keep in mind that skimmers are usually the culprit for in-ground pool leaks. However, if you cannot detect the leak location after running the tests, it’s a good idea to call in a professional pool repair service.

You should add one 3-inch chlorine tablet for every 5,000 gallons of water in your pool. If you have a smaller pool, it’s better to use 1-inch chlorine tablets so you don’t accidentally add too much chlorine. While it’s likely not harmful, if you get in the pool too early, the baking soda may irritate your skin or eyes if you’re sensitive to it.
