"Last October, we contacted four different Angi-recommended contractors to build a screened porch over the largest of three sections over a 20-year-old deck and to replace the old wood decking with Trex. Peter Leo’s understanding of our project and honest, transparent approach, along with his very reasonable price quote, inspired our confidence. As we were making our final decision, he readily contacted two of his previous customers so we could visit his completed projects, which further convinced us that we made the right choice. Two weeks later, Peter visited to tell us the existing deck structures were sagging and would need to be replaced. By the end of the week, his team had totally disassembled and removed the old deck and shortly thereafter, we witnessed a member of his team screwing 2x2s to his post hole digger to ensure the footers were deep enough. Imagine that: a three-foot hole wasn’t sufficient! Throughout the process, Peter’s team was efficient, communicative, and responsive to several changes we suggested while the project was underway. Within two months contacting him, our backyard was transformed into a welcoming oasis with a beautiful 14x20 screened porch, a 14x18 deck and slate patios on each side. As you might imagine, replacing the entire deck structure increased the price above the original quote, but our biggest surprise was the modest amount of the price increase.
