  I called this contractor, early in May, because they sealed my driveway five years ago and I was pleased with the results. Mark called me back and scheduled an appointment for an estimate. He came out, as scheduled, a couple of days later and gave me the estimate, which was about $40 more than I paid the previous time. I accepted and we agreed that it would be done by the end of the month. He called me the evening of the 27th to schedule the job for the morning of the 28th, showed up with hie crew at 7 AM, and finished up in less than two hours.   I received several estimates and John Sparrows was the best which actually came as a surprise since I chose him because I liked the professionalism and knowledge he projected when he came out for estimate. I also like the ratings his company had already earned on Angie's list. Prior to signing a contract, I asked for recent references which he provided me back by phone text the same day. I checked on his work and his prior clients were happy with his work. I called and scheduled my job to be completed something with in the next month, within three weeks he called scheduled the day to complete the work. Note: He seems very busy and I would leave a call or text for him, but he always answered back the same day or next morning. He and his crew arrived on time and spent the entire day on the job. It seemed to me to be much bigger job than I had expected. With a crew of about 6 folks they removed the old asphalt and repaired all the bad spots in the driveway and parking area. The amount removed and repaired was way more extensive and very professionally done than I anticipated. His crew as very professional and did outstanding job and was on site for almost 12 hours repairing and resurfacing my driveway and parking area. John had me inspect the job prior to their departure and his payment. I am very happy with the work he and crew did for me and highly recommend himshow more

  The crew arrived right on time the first day to remove the old driveway. They discovered that the existing driveway did not have a good base, so they would have to add additional stone before they could put down the asphalt. We were immediately told and asked to decide if we wanted to do this, since it would increase the cost. We decided it was more important to have it done right! Mr. Templeton was most apologetic about not catching this in his original estimate, but there really was no way of knowing until demolition had startedshow more

  Prompt visit to site first week of October. Received quote via email within a couple days (Oct4). Immediately informed me of their schedule backlog, indicating work would likely be "mid November" if I awarded them the work, which was ok for my application as long as the weather didn't get too cold for asphalt work. Received a call Monday (Nov5) they could do the work Thurs-Fri of that week. They arrived promptly to start at 8am as scheduled, and worked the full 2 days to complete the project. No issues encountered, other than they themselves inspected and rejected a load of asphalt they deemed unsuitable/improperly mixed. Good results.
