"I just had my sofa cleaned by Seth and I’m blown away. He arrived on time, got right to work, and left the leather looking great. No weird smells, no streaks, just fresh and plush. The price was fair, he was friendly, and the whole process was hassle‑free. If you want your couch or sofa to feel brand‑new again, give them a call. Highly recommend!!!"

"It went well. There was nothing specific I liked about the way they treated me or their service. They just cleaned the vents. There was nothing really extraordinary. The staff was friendly. They did a good job. Obviously, some of the vents, when they took them out, they took the paint off but I guess that's what happens when you have the vents removed."

Couch Cleaning Services questions, answered by experts

Putting an air filter in backward can reduce airflow, which means your air conditioner has to work harder, putting a strain on your HVAC system. This can result in higher energy bills, premature repair, or even system replacement. Always check the manufacturer's guidelines to identify what is the front and back of the filter.

Avoiding regular HVAC maintenance can lead to significant problems and higher costs over time. Without proper care, your system has to work harder, resulting in increased wear and tear, reduced performance, and more frequent breakdowns. This inefficiency leads to higher energy bills as the system consumes more energy to heat or cool your home.

Key components like condensate lines, evaporator coils, and motors require regular cleaning and lubrication to function correctly. Neglecting these tasks can lead to critical problems and costly repairs. Over time, unattended issues can cause permanent damage, potentially requiring you to replace the entire unit much sooner than expected. Additionally, skipping maintenance can negatively impact your indoor air quality.

A correctly installed air filter will fit snugly in its compartment. One that’s too thick or big won’t lie smoothly, and it can block the airflow, sometimes resulting in strange noises. A filter that’s too small or improperly fitted may move around in the compartment, resulting in strange humming or vibration noises. Poor fitting can eventually cause a buildup of dirt in the HVAC ductwork, and reduced indoor air quality can lead to sneezing or excess dust on your surfaces.

You can use a pressure washer to clean the outdoor condenser coils if the dirt buildup is too heavy for a garden hose and sprayer. Use a gentle setting on your pressure washer to avoid damage to the coils and fins. Do not use a pressure washer on indoor evaporator coils.

As a general rule, HVAC air filters should be replaced every one to three months (or every 90 days). However, the ideal frequency depends on several factors, including the filter type and your home's environment. For instance, if you use thinner filters (1-2 inches deep), have pets, have household members with allergies, smoke indoors, or frequently keep windows open, you may need to change the filter as often as once a month. It's best to follow the manufacturer's recommendation as a guideline and visually inspect the filter monthly to see if it's dirty. Regular filter changes are crucial for maintaining proper airflow, good indoor air quality, and efficient HVAC system operation.
