"Wilmar with Lion’s Tree Care and Landscaping did a great job! Amazing service! They did a massive cleanup of our front and back yards, including mowing, weeding, leaf removal and tree trimming. My husband is currently injured, and having them take over these chores was a lifesaver. Everything looks manicured and tidy. We will definitely be using them again!"

Customers say: True professional

"We contacted Fox Electric about repairing/replacing a driveway lamp post that was in bad shape. We reached out and had an appointment booked immediately and they came out for a consult the next day. The service was fast, friendly and professional and our driveway lamp post was fully replaced within just a couple of days. It works great and the price was very reasonable for the job. We highly recommend this company and their work."

Landscaping questions, answered by experts

A rock garden can last indefinitely as long as you properly maintain it. Whether solely made of rocks or with greenery incorporated, they generally last a while, though it may vary based on your climate.

Yes, such as sod installation and erosion control for comprehensive site improvement.

Yes, rock gardens do need water. That said, they typically require less regular watering and, instead, more occasional, deep watering since the rocks trap moisture for longer than mulch. Make sure you don’t water your rock garden too much during the winter.

The best time to plant is between spring and autumn. Springtime weather is typically mild and is when nurseries start to bloom. When the summer weather arrives and it’s hot out, it’s best to avoid planting bare-root plants, but you can still plant many in-container varieties. The first sign of fall is another great opportunity to plant biennials if you live in southern states, or a lovely vegetable garden up north.

You should use mulch because it protects garden soil in a few key ways. This extra layer between the ground and the elements protects against erosion, helps your soil maintain moisture, regulates changes in temperature, adds nutrients as it decomposes, and keeps weeds at bay.
