It took about 4 months for Hooked on Solar to identify the damaged panels, schedule an appointment to replacement, but finally they fixed the panels."

"Our gas hot water heater broke in our 2nd floor condo on Saturday and I reached out to Neighborhood Specialists late Sunday night through Angie's List messenger. They responded within an hour or so and we sent multiple messages back and forth that night to make sure they could get me what I needed before I purchased any deal online. This already began to ease my anxiety of this situation. Another reviewer said they went above and beyond so I thought I'd try it. They were right on the money. They called Monday around 1pm to stop out and take a look at the situation and make sure they could start draining the tank. After just a few short hours after arrival, it was completely installed, upgraded and fully functional. The technician went above and beyond to make sure the installation happened as soon as possible. (He even went to pick up the tank off of a nearby truck. He also carried the tank up the stairs himself because his other technicians were on other jobs and he didn't want us to have to wait until the next day for installation.) He was kind, competent and considerate of my place, as well as my neighbor's place below us. He was knowledgeable about all of the equipment in our mechanical closet, including the HVAC questions I randomly asked. I do not feel like I was nickel and dimed by this company and would 100% recommend them to anyone looking for hot water heaters or HVAC work. He even swapped out some smaller parts to make sure the whole unit would last as long as possible. I also got a small tutorial on how the new pilot light panel works and the appropriate temperature settings for our place. We have been using our hot water for 2 days now and it is working beautifully! I am definitely going to be using Neighborhood Specialists for any future HVAC needs. This is a family owned business that is great to their customers and good at what they do. What could be better!?"
