"I would definitely recommend them.  I have nothing but the best to say about them expect for the price.  The price is in the middle of the road.  They did an awesome job.  They are just a great company.  They pay attention.  They take a lot of work off me because they get the permits and all of that.  They clean up their mess very well.  Once they started, I didn’t have to worry about any of it.  I even would go out and offer them something to drink but they would say, "Nay we are fine"."

"I felt like I was dealing with a used car salesman when reviewing the product. After agreeing to make the purchase and the order was placed, there was no customer service. It took almost two weeks to get the shower installed. The installer was well mannered and it appears to be a good installation and he cleaned up any mess. There has been no follow up to see if I am pleased with the installation."

Affordable Plumbers questions, answered by experts

Plumbing leaks are usually not covered by homeowners insurance because the problems are avoidable with proper maintenance. In most cases, you’ll have to pay out of pocket for a fix. However, if the leak is a direct result of a natural disaster, like an earthquake that cracked a pipe or a house fire, your insurance may cover the repairs.

Never pour used motor oil down the drain. Doing so can have serious environmental consequences, including contaminating groundwater, endangering animals, and killing vegetation. It can also clog your pipes, causing backups in your plumbing or the wastewater treatment plant. In most places, pouring motor oil down the drain is illegal, whether you do it in your home or a storm drain.

Turn on the water to each faucet and check the area for water trickling out from anyplace but the spout. Next, shut off the water and see if there’s any residue which could indicate a worn down rubber seal. If you find any water, you can replace the rubber seal or have a plumber do it for you.

Depending on the issue and materials, costs range from $150 to $500.

Vinegar is better for an AC drain line because it’s less corrosive and won’t damage the pipes. It’s also a safer and easier product to use. Bleach should not be used on your AC drain line because it can corrode your pipes and harm the evaporator coil in your air conditioner.
