"I have had several companies over the years do management for me but honestly I have to say that CB Property Management are hands down the BEST I have ever dealt with. They currently manage about 40 of my properties. I am what some might say a little "high maintenance" when it comes to my investments but they have demonstrated excellent credibility in choosing the right tenants time and time again. This makes me happy. This has always been my my pet peeve but I never have to worry about getting my rent on time with them managing the properties. They do background checks, credit checks and reference checks which makes me feel good that they are doing their due diligence. I never (or rarely) have a tenant who doesn't pay on time. I think it is very cool that not only do they do inspections on my properties but that they send me photos as well. I love the fact that they are in my properties because I feel it keeps my investment in good repair by keeping the tenants accountable. The best thing is they handle any maintenance calls so I am not bothered with contacting service providers or getting calls all hours of the day and night. They are very communicative and they send me owner reports on each of my properties that are fantastic. Honestly I have become very spoiled with the service and peace of mind CBPM has provided me. I definitely feel my assets and income are professionally managed which makes me feel comfortable to continue buying homes for them to manage. In short I highly recommend them. They are the best I have experienced in 20 years."

Real Estate Agents questions, answered by experts

Whether a scullery is worth it depends on how much you like to cook and entertain. If you frequently host gatherings—a scullery is likely worth the money. If you’re looking for ROI, it’s not so clear. It may not add significant value to your home, as it doesn’t increase square footage and may repurpose space that a buyer would have preferred to remain as-is (like a laundry room).

Ranch-style homes are typically larger and more rectangular than most bungalows' small, square footprints. The floor plans for these two home styles are often different, too, with ranch home bedrooms placed along a hallway off the central living space and bungalows having their bedrooms directly off the main area without hallways.

By increasing square footage and functionality, resale appeal is enhanced.

An A-frame home can be cheaper to build than a traditional house, but that is not always a given. Prices can be fairly similar in some cases, depending on the location, design, and necessary site preparation. Costs for an A-frame typically run between $100 to $200 per square foot, which is comparable to the cost of a traditional home. The cost of an A-frame can come in under those numbers if you opt for a prefabricated kit.

It depends on the location of the home and, more particularly, the region’s climate. For example, a Florida homeowner can rest assured they won’t lose money at resale if their home doesn’t have a fireplace. However, buyers in Minnesota or other northern states known for frigid winters might offer a lower price if the home doesn’t come equipped with another way to stay warm.
