"We can't say enough positive things about Professional Hardscapes. We hired them to repair our enormous rock wall that collapsed after a storm. The entire job took about 4-5 days...which was seriously amazing considering the scale of the project. Henry, the owner, was quick to answer emails or other questions we had. Periodically we would watch the crew (basically because we were amazed at their skill). They were pleasant and professional. At the end of each day, they cleaned up their personal belongings and at the end of the project, cleanup was perfect. They did not interfere with our daily routines in any way. The cost of the project was very reasonable. We will hire them in the future to repair other sections of our stone wall. This project came after we had a bad experience with another contractor, so we were cautious. Much to our delight, this was a completely different experience. It was a blessing to have hired them - what a peace of mind they delivered (as much of our driveway had been blocked by the collapsed wall and stone everywhere). Your city or county will have guidelines about the minimum and maximum width and length of private roads. The average private road is 12 feet wide, and length, of course, depends on your property. Requirements also depend on the amount of traffic and types of vehicles your road experiences. Check with local ordinances before planning a road on your property.

Chip seal layers gravel and a liquid bitumen one at a time on-site, while asphalt directly pours a pre-combined mixture. Asphalt must be sealed, but it will last up to four times as long as chip seal driveways. Aesthetically, chip seal has a natural, rustic look compared to the traditional asphalt slab.

Adhere pavers to concrete with either mortar or a concrete-specific adhesive. In most cases, you will also need to lay a permeable sand layer below the pavers to encourage proper stability and drainage in your transformed patio, porch, or driveway. To lay pavers like a pro, always make sure you take the proper preparatory steps before adhering them directly to the concrete.
