"The work was done extremely well. Everything went smoothly and on time. We had to go out of town during most of the installation but it didn't create any problem. We were very pleased with the professionalism and expertise.

"Ferguson Home Improvements did a fantastic job.  All the work that needed to get done, was finished beyond my expectations.  The workers were very friendly.  The job took a little longer that expected, but Ferguson Home Improvements were not at fault, the weather played a major factor with the deck stain and door installation.  At the time the work was getting done, we received a lot of rain and storms.  All in all, I would highly recommend Ferguson Home Improvements.

"Josh was contacted through his former employer that no longer services the area who recommended him to renovate my entire home that I see he has pictures of on his profile. He did an amazing job with absolutely everything from adding a bonus nursery, flooring throughout the entire house along with custom trim! He provided me with a completely updated home that I couldn’t be happier with. Don’t hesitate to give this man a call. He’s super kind and willing to work with you the whole way. He even installed my appliances that arrived completely free of charge!"
Couple was expecting a baby and lived in a one bedroom loft. Upon examination of home it was determined to use this awkward, fairly unused space to create a quaint little nursery that can double as an office space/extra bedroom later down the road.

Homeowners wanted to provide seperation between the kitchen area and living room area while still keeping the "open layout" feel of the house. The remedy I provided was an open pass-through wall that could double as an extra area for guests to sit down and eat.

"They were fast, efficient, and CLEAN. Very professional. Work was really well done- biggest problem is that the part of the ceiling they installed is so much nicer than the part that wasn't affected by the flood. Brian and team from Walls had done a previous job- installing a ventilating fan in the ceiling of our guest bathroom where our old fan was doing a terrible job; paint was peeling because of moisture. Brian got me a much better fan and installed it- difference was amazing. The guys saw that our banister going down to the basement had come loose- and without my asking and at no charge, they repaired it. I now use them for a variety of handy man tasks. They are not cheap: as I recall, around $125 to come out - but they are fast and very good and manage to keep the price reasonable.

"My kitchen looks great. The counter tops needed replacing, the cabinets were fading and coming off the walls in several places, I needed new appliances, and the walls and cabinets needed new paint and backsplash. Ryan’s remodeling took care of it all, and it looks as good as new! The guy was punctual, knowledgeable, and got it done in a weekend. I would definitely use them again for any other projects I have."

"Adam came for the original estimate.  He was knowledgeable, professional and answered my questions.  We set a date for the work and he advised I would be called the day before with details.  No call so I called and left a message.  My call was returned promptly by Amanda with many apologies.  She explained that the company was going thru a bit of a change.  I was very appreciative of her honesty.  She gave me the numbers for the roofing supplier and another client to assure me all would go well.  She certainly kept her word and the work was done in a timely manner.  She came to my home several times and called throughout the day to make sure everything was running smoothly.  We needed to do some adjustment to the original price and we were able to come to a satisfactory agreement.
My only concern was that I am still picking up nails and staples in my yard.  They did go around with a magnet and blew off the roof but
I am still picking up debris.
Amanda showed a great deal of integrity.  I would use this company again.

"

One of the best things about Steve is he showed up when he was suppose to!

It was nice to watch things go so smoothly ....There was nothing he couldn't do. I thought I was going to have to hire a plumber to install the shower toilet sink water heater etc but I didn't."

Backsplash Installation questions, answered by experts

Tile countertops can be an excellent and budget-friendly option for a kitchen, provided they are installed correctly. It's important to choose tiles, such as ceramic, that are heat-, water-, and scratch-resistant. When the grout is properly sealed, it will resist stains, making the surface easy to clean. Tile is also considered a sustainable material. For a cohesive kitchen design and added protection, you can pair a tile countertop with a matching tile backsplash.

Tile floor installation usually takes about 16 hours of active work along with a couple of days of drying time between tile and grout applications.

The amount of time it takes your installer will depend on many factors, including the square footage of the space, the tile material type, and if they need to make intricate tile cuts.

The best types of tiles for a shower are ceramic and porcelain tiles. These materials are durable, water-resistant, and easy to maintain, making them ideal for wet environments. Porcelain tiles are slightly more durable than ceramic. Both options come in a wide variety of styles, so you can achieve the perfect look for your bathroom.

Grout lines should typically be between 1/8 to 3/16 inch thick. This ensures enough room for the grout to dry properly and makes them wide enough to look clean and professional. If grout lines are too small, it can be easier to see imperfections in the spacing.

Ideally, you should remove tile before installing hardwood floors, but there are good reasons not to. Removing stubborn tile can be a labor-intensive job that adds days to the project. The subfloor beneath the tiles could also be damaged during the process, meaning you’d have to repair the subfloor before installing the new hardwood floor.
