"A few years back our company was taking a large tree down and it had about 1000 bee's inside the tree. Bat Bee & Hornet came and removed the hive and the bee's. So now I had a need at our home, we had a next of about 30 to 40 European Hornets living inside our Gazebo. I called Paul and he came out, I was not home when he performed the work, but my neighbors watch him and when I came home, no hornets not even a dead one on the ground. It has been over a week now and still no hornets. Now Paul did say they can return and eggs could be around that have not hatched yet. I am hopeful they are gone for good. I must say I did call another company first, because I forgot at first about the Bee's in the tree since it was work related vs home related. And the other company would only work with us if we became a client that used their services for home pest prevention's. They quoted me a price a couple hundred more than what Paul quoted me, and then once Paul did the work he discounted his price close to 20%. Yes i would call Bat Bee and Hornet again."

"They seem to do a good job on the pest control. The treatments seem to be working. The technicians seem curteous. We have asked them to make morning appointments and they usually come in the afternoon. I feel they should have it in their system that we like to take the morning appointments."

"Very friendly tech came to examine our house. He was really late, but this did not matter - lost his way. The cost was way beyond what we are willing to pay for pest control (over $1000) but we do have a fairly problematic carpenter bee problem."

"Terminex e-mailed me within an hour of my request to let me know they'd be in touch. About 40 hrs. Later they called to set up an appt. To come out for the service I needed. Everyone, from the appt. Maker to the service tech. Was courteous, professional, and let me know they were there to resolve my issues. I had an initial treatment, a follow-up, & a free termite inspection performed, & the cost was average for my area for the services performed. I found out my home had issues we didn't even know about, and they were handled by Terminex immediately. I would highly recommend Terminex to each & every person who needs Pest Control services."

Pest Control questions, answered by experts

There are some clear signs of a termite infestation, including damaged drywall, bubbling under paint, peeling paint, sagging or loose boards, and more. Termites typically leave behind a trail on the surface and interior of your drywall as they chew through it. Look for small, pin-sized holes in drywall or wallpaper to determine whether termites have made their way inside.

It’s been said that baking soda can kill fleas as it may dry out eggs and larvae. However, this method has not been proven to be effective in killing fleas or other pests. However, you can use it to absorb smells so if there is a fragrance you believe is attracting fleas or ticks, you can use baking soda to rid the smell to control it.

Costs depend on infestation severity, business size, treatment type, and frequency of service.

Scarecrows and lifelike animal decoys, such as snakes, owls, coyotes, foxes, and hawks, can initially deter rabbits. However, these tactics might lose effectiveness if rabbits learn they are harmless. Having your dog or cat roam and mark the yard with their scent can also prove beneficial. Keep in mind tactics like these work best when combined with other methods.

Paper wasps, like many other wasps, are attracted to sweet smells that remind them of nectar. That’s why wasps may buzz around you as you snack on watermelon on the patio. They may also like the scent of certain perfumes. Standing water attracts these wasps, too.

Paper wasps are also attracted to warm, sheltered spaces, where they can build nests and raise larva in protected areas away from predators. They may also be attracted to untreated wood on your deck or fence, as they use wood pulp to build nests.
