Visit us online at mssvcinc.com ! Licensed for new VA Dept of Health Inspection requirements for Alternative Onsite Sewage Systems. VA Class A Contractor.

"I called and got a quote of $295 to pump out my septic tank and when they finished the bill was $395 even though there were no issues with my septic system. They were also about an hour later arriving than the time window they had given me. In addition, there was supposed to be a discount for my subdivision and the people of course they didn't know anything about. The other issue was that the whole time they were here they were trying to upsell me on all their other services using scare tactics. Beware if you are considering using them."

A full service plumbing & tile company. Licensed & Insured. VA licensed contractor & tradesman. Free Estimates, Never any call out fee. Charge by the hour or job. Customer satisfaction guaranteed. Complete bathroom remodeling specialists. Mention you found us on angies list to receive 10% of your next service call.

"It took about a week & half working partial days in order to allow cement, grout, etc to dry.properly. We now have a large tiled shower with seat and 3 grab bars for safety. Mr. Eads removed all plastic piping and replaced with copper. Roughed in the old shower area so I could have Closet Organizers put in shelves and upper and lower doors for a large closet. Was always neat and cleaned up after work. Very happy with work."

Sewer Cleaning questions, answered by experts

To get rid of a sewer smell in your crawl space, you’ll have to find the source of the problem. If it has to do with your sewer lines, then repairing the line will help. You may need to make other repairs, like fixing your sump pump or encapsulating your crawl space to reduce moisture. After you make the repair, depending on the issue, you may still need to clean out your crawl space to get rid of the stink.

Cat pee has a strong ammonia-like smell, so if you smell cat pee but don’t have a cat or don’t suspect your cat has any accidents, there could be other issues at hand. Aside from pet urine, your house may smell like cat pee from leaking freon from an old fridge, mold, spilled cleaning supplies, or even outside odors from nearby farms.

A sewage smell in your crawl space is usually from a damaged or clogged pipe leaking sewer gasses or actual sewage underneath your home, but there are some other common causes. Moisture, from poor or damaged encapsulation or a malfunctioning sump pump, can harbor mold and bacteria, causing a musty smell. Pests can also get stuck in your crawl space and die, which causes a sewage-like odor.

Most commercial liquid drain cleaners work in 15 to 30 minutes. Consult the label on the bottle for additional instructions or time suggestions to prevent damage to your drainpipes. Alternative solutions such as baking soda, salt, white vinegar, and/or boiling water can take longer since they are less harsh than liquid drain cleaners.

The cost to unclog a sewer line is between $200 and $600, with the average homeowner spending around $380, depending on the severity of the clog. It can cost as little as $100 to snake a small clog, but you could spend up to $1,600 if you need to video inspect the line and hydrojet a large clog.
