- Noonan's Handyman & Landscape DesignHe came out on the 6th of May this year to allow us to provide him with a list of tasks and to provide us a quote. He arrived on time and was very attentive and courteous as we discussed the variety of tasks we wanted addressed. Since he only works by the day not by the hour, we both agreed at the end of this visit that he had a full days work. We then scheduled the earliest date he had open for the work which was the 5th of July. He is typically fully booked this far in advance, sometimes further out than that. He promised to bring all the materials he would need for the job and to arrive at 9:00 am to begin work (he arrived 5 minutes early). He suggested that he do all the inside work first since he would be very dirty after completing the outside work. Although the outside work was our highest priority, he assured us that he would get our list completed. I then informed him that I had added some tasks and he still considered them in scope. He wore foot protection when entering the house. He went beyond what others might have done. For example, one of the tasks was to remove a broken rail from a rail fence and replace it. Instead of just leaving this eight foot long rail for me to dispose of, he cut it up into fireplace size pieces and stacked it on my neighbors wood pile (I don't have a wood burning fireplace). While installing the home owner provided gutter guards, he inspected the flashing around all the vents through the roof and reported which ones to keep an eye on. When I asked him when his "day" ended his response was "whenever". He was there for the day and after completing what he quoted, if there were other tasks, he would do them if he had the necessary material. He was very personable. It appears that his work was done right but only time will tell

He does not waste any time and is very professional. I was disappointed that he does not do any type of electrical work but I knew that before I hired him. He had no fear walking on my steep roof for the gutter work described above. I believe he told me that he used to work as a lumberjack climbing tall trees and topping them. I would hire him again if I had enough non-electrical jobs to fill a day's work

My gutters had not been cleaned for several years so this was no small task. While he was there he also cleaned up the front door siding of mold and mildew, filled both propane tanks up and cleaned the up the front porch and back patio, inspected my roof and sealed two shingles that had been torn. He left my home looking better than he found it! I was so impressed with his work I have hired him to paint the outside of my townhome and stain my fence. I can't wait to see the results!
