Grady is the only person (or company) who was willing to take on the job and drive all the way from Pennsylvania to our home in Northern Virginia. There are very few people who do this kind of work anymore (we really searched) and he is an expert in his field. We needed to work around his schedule, because he is in demand in the tri-state area, so it took awhile to schedule the work to begin... but it was worth it."

Primarily we only take commercial work, however in this economy we feel diversity is key to success. We are experienced in Electrical Plumbing and general Handyman services. "Made an appt. with Castle Rep, James, for 17 windows and vinyl siding. He spent 1 hour talking about how great his company and windows are before finally getting down to the issue. We were told that CASTLE makes and services their own window, with all the best technology and technicians available. The price per window for energy efficient came out to over $1,200 per double-hung window! And since they make their own products, we could not find a way to compare quality and price with other manufacturers. But his per-window price exceeds the average price of $500-700 by A LOT! When we balked, he made a call to his "manager" to see if we qualified for a "special promotional" discount. If we were to commit right there on the spot, we would get an additional 10% off! Still way to high. We said we would think about it (he got sad and snippy), and that we wanted to hear about the vinyl siding quote before we made any decisions. He told us he could not give us a siding quote until his company did an "eagle view" measurement, which would require another appointment! We had no intention of sitting through ANOTHER high-pressure appointment. High pressure, long-drawn out presentation and he would not leave us with anything in writing! No brochures, prices, nothing! He refused to put anything in writing and we could not have a break down of labor and costs. I even asked him if I could have a copyhh of the window warranty and he said "only if you purchase right now." And they did not come prepared with references or previous job locations! When we further researched the company, we found they did make very excellent products, but the #1 complaint was by far that they did not honor their lifetime warranty and that customer service was horrible. In the end, we chose not to do business.."

"Classic Granite & Marble were great to work with for the installation of our new Silestone quartz kitchen countertops! See the "before" old laminate compared to the new quartz photos. They were on time, called prior to their arrival, and worked diligently to get the job done and answer all my questions! Templater, Joey, took his time to get just the right measurements and was thorough. Installers, Ivan, Nester, and team, worked diligently with removing old countertops and sink as well as installing all the new. We had an issue with a difficult area behind the slide-in stove, and Heather, project manager, quickly scheduled the service team, Otoneil and Victor, who came just two days later and expertly fixed the problem. Heather was great from the beginning to end in answering questions and guiding me through the entire process. I would highly recommend CGM!"

"Castle called to set up measurements for window manufacture. Their rep showed up on time and was a relatively quick procedure to measure. They called again once windows were ready to install, to set up installation date. Superb job performed by the removal/install team. They called the day before their arrival and then again the morning of arrival. Went straight to work and were productive from start to finish. I had two sets of double windows replaced with double slider windows and you cannot tell the new windows frames are different from what was originally installed. Thoroughly cleaned the work area, to my satisfaction, when they were done. The only problem was they provided only half screens instead of full screens for the double sliders, however they rectified this when informed."

"Troy did a nice job, especially with the carpentry part of the job.  Troy found new railroad ties to replace parts that were beyond repair, but the lumber was hard to find because of its dimensions.  Troy finally found them in Madison, bought them after calling me to discuss price and quantity and then hauled them back.  The old rotted pieces were difficult to remove but Troy kept at it and did a really nice job installing the replacement pieces.  The repair work to the other rot was decent but would have been better if framed out temporarily while the concrete dried.  I told him though that I wasn't looking for perfect on that part -- just good enough to stop further rot and fill in the holes.  I had purchased a 4-hour deal through Angies List and Troy was trying to get done within the allotted time.
