"We should have read the reviews! I completely agree with people that say Christian is great in the beginning —when it came to selling the product and being extremely friendly, and helpful, telling you exactly what you want to hear. Please do not fall for his friendly, helpful demeanor during the selling process. If you have an issue or are not satisfied, best of luck! Christian sold us on the leathered look 100% while we were in the showroom. So we picked a slab of stone and were excited to have it installed in our new finished basement. Installers came today and installed the countertop. We went down after the installers were done so they could tell us care instructions, We realized then that it wasn’t leathered it was honed. I was super disappointed. I drove to Salem to speak with Christian about this and showed him our contract, which had nothing about being honed on there. He then gets out “his contract”, and it had been edited the and his contract says honed. You can’t add something to the contract after it signed. If he realized after we left that he didn’t know what we wanted he should have called or contacted us to verify. I was completely in shock by the way I was talked to and treated. Not only was it extremely unprofessional and tacky, but the way he spoke to me was downright condescending and belittling. Christian raised his voice and me several times, but I never once attempted to match his level of rude. Never once did he apologize for the misunderstanding or mistake. He told me There was nothing he could do and to leave his store immediately. I asked him for the owners information and he told me he would have the owner call me . More disappointed in the way I was treated today than the misunderstanding of the finish. Hoping the owner will make it right in someway."
