"Darnel has a father and son team. He provided good customer communication throughout the process. He was on time and did a great job removing tree debris. Darnel and his son worked 2 hours straight and charged a fair price. I definitely would hire again."

"This is one professional company. From the original meeting and estimate thru cleanup these guys did a great job. Had them remove 22 tall/large diameter trees with obstacles such as a house, ditch and power lines to work around. After the first couple of trees were felled we knew we had hired the right company. They had the proper equipment, training and work ethic to get the job done in 2 days. Even stayed late the last day to make sure the cleanup was to our satisfaction. Extremely satisfied with the work and cost of work provided."

Arborists questions, answered by experts

Homeowners are usually not responsible for trees that fall on power lines. Power companies usually have utility easements around power lines, which give them the responsibility to maintain any trees within about 15 to 20 feet of the lines.

While the fastest way to kill a tree is to simply cut it down, there are several other methods to choose from. You should hire a professional tree removal service to cut down a tree to ensure your personal and property safety. Some slower but effective options include treating or grinding the tree stump or using a basal bark treatment.

Make sure the tree roots soak around a day before you dig the tree up for the transplant. Keep the roots wet while the tree is above ground. After the transplant is finished, provide consistent water every day for the first month or so. You don’t want to overwater the tree, but you do want to keep the roots wet so they can thrive in their new environment.

The average lifespan of an oak tree is 100 to 300 years, so long as it isn’t impacted by diseases like sudden oak death. Some species will last shorter or longer, depending on where you live.

Palm trees aren’t much different than your typical tree removal. Removing a palm tree is a standard procedure as long as pros have the proper tools and supplies. For DIYers, however, there are some risks associated with palm tree removal. Palm trees have spiky fronds, bark, and patches of hefty wood. So, it’s best to let an experienced tree service pro remove a palm tree.
