"Quick work. Cleared my yard of tree and bush debris plus cut a couple of invasive trees.. price was very reasonable. Best of all they were able to complete the job today. After I cleared a bunch of yard waste, I decided that I did not have the energy to cut pieces to size and bag the stuff.   • Chainsaw: Using a chainsaw is the fastest method, but it comes with significant safety risks, especially for inexperienced users.

  • Burning: This can be an effective method, but it is not recommended unless you can first drill holes into the stump. Without holes, the stump will be difficult to light and may not burn completely through.

A power drill with at least a ⅜-inch diameter bit can make the job quicker and easier, regardless of the primary method. While you can use a chisel or chainsaw without a drill, it will require more time and effort. Always wear protective goggles and thick gloves, as splinters are an inevitable risk.

Sometimes, knowing when you need tree-trimming services is straightforward, and other times, you have to do some investigating. Some tell-tale signs that you should have your tree trimmed include:

These methods allow you to kill a stump using minimal machinery and physical exertion.
