He requested and received $2,500 as deposit before he was scheduled to begin work the following week. He never showed up. When I asked him why he said he had problems with his work vehicle. The next week he said he was out of town. The next week he was working on another project. Etc. Eventually when I asked for him to return my deposit until he is ready to do the work, he had another string of excuses of why he couldn’t pay or empty promises of when he said he would pay.
