"We had astronomical winter heating bills in the first winter in our new (old) home. I hired Shane and his team to install a vapor barrier in my crawlspace, insulation in my basement and to replace my crawlspace doors which were deteriorated and lacked insulation. The quote process was thorough but quick. They scheduled the work quickly as well. On install, they literally unearthed a mountain of construction debris that had collected under the house for who knows how long. They completed the job in just a couple of days and the results were more than impressive. We also chose to replace our windows and the result of both jobs brought our energy bill down by more than 50%. "Roberto was the technician and he was very professional, polite, and personable. He inspected the rest of our system and told us things that needed to be changed or repaired. He showed me pictures of everything. Everything he told me about was accurate. He quoted me a price for R38 insulation , Some of our ducts were plastic and he recommended them to be changed. I agreed completely and didn't know they were plastic. I would have had them done the work but I had no price comparisons to make and besides I didn't have the money right then. So he just finished the vent cleaning and left his card. He did a great job on the vent cleaning and was happy with the work."

"Barry and his assistant showed up and started working on the otuside inspection while we were waiting for the realtor to arrive. They did a thourough visual inspection of the house and made sure that outlets, plumbing, gas and light fixtures were working properly and had the necessary covers on them. After the visual inspection with photos being taken they performed a thermal scan of the walls in the house to look for moisture and possible infestations.

"We interviewed six vendors to receive estimates and explore various products and installation options.  The price estimates of our top three were fairly close.  We chose American Siding in-part because it is a local small business, but also because of the product line and workmanship techniques described  The project was delayed about a month from the target start date due to prior job sire requesting additional work not included in their original contract.  Our project included high end vinyl siding with foam backing and we had over 30 windows on the house and shed.  Paul worked with us to use lower grade siding and windows on the shed to help keep costs down.  His crew of Jonathan and Dave were professional and friendly, very hard workers.  We had frequent discussions to be kept up to speed on the work being and the progress of the job.  A separate crew did the roof which took only two days, although the second day ended at about 8:30.  The overall job took about five weeks.  A great deal of attention to detail was paid to the installation process.  The siding was applied on top of the existing siding.  A lot of time was spent on building out the windows so they would not be recessed.  Many other details that are not seen were attended to that I believe some other companies would skip.  Our original contract was for 40K but we had an additional $700 overrun.  This was for the replacement of a large amount of rotten wood beyond the amount agreed to upfront.  We have had several compliments from our neighbors and are delighted with the appearance.  We have several improvements immediately.  The house is quieter, the temperature throughout the house is much more even and the ac runs less often.  Even when you go from downstairs to upstairs the temperature is constant and it no longer feels as stuffy upstairs.  This is in part due to the venting in the roof.  All in all we highly recommend considering American Siding Inc."

"Sky Home does excellent work!  Most recently, we hired Sky Home to replace our front door, frame, and storm door, roof soffits,and replace and wrap the fascia board on the exterior of our townhome in Centreville, VA.  Ben went the extra mile wherever he could to ensure that the work was top notch, effective for purpose and pleasing to the eye, including even helping our neighbor out a bit, which showed tremendous character.  The house looks incredible.
We started working with Ben and Sky Home last year. As new homeowners, the ownership part quickly became a harsh reality after we'd sprung a serious roof leak, which resulted in a terrible encounter with a bad roofer who did more damage than any good to our roof.  Long story short, the bad contractor wouldn't fix it.  We knew we were in need of a new roof anyways and in our search, we discovered Sky Home. 
We were so grateful to have found them.  Ben and Sky Home were AWESOME from his estimate to the end product.  They worked as early or as late as required to get the job done right, on time and to our specifications.  He knocked it out of the park and if he says he's going to do something, he does it.  Ben and team are worth every single dollar and they go above and beyond.  For example, we also had him re-insulate our attic and for a little bit more cash, he managed to build for us some adequate storage space around the newly blown insulation using spare wood from the roof replacement, which was a huge help to us.  Dude is killer.  We couldn't recommend him any higher!!"
