They removed or transplanted the existing vegetation; dug, leveled, and compacted the foundation; precisely placed every paver, filled the boxes with fresh topsoil, and installed drip irrigation. They also put down fabric and gravel in the walkways and around our shed to complete the look and keep weeds down. I couldn't be happier! Then, the finished brickwork is beautiful. His repair plan for the main chimney included, taking out the old loose mortar, cleaning up and relaying the brick, adding two more layers and forming a new crown that better protects the entire structure. Afterwards, he applied a protective coating. The second chimney only needed some mortar and crack repair, both excellently done, then coated as well. John's quality of work and attention to detail, means that these chimneys look better than before and are good for another 70 years. John's work is immediately and obviously better than the incompetent or unskilled person claiming to be a mason who "repaired" the main chimney 12-15 years ago. "
