"Warning! These guys have no business landscaping. 1. They made no suggestions as to rock that has been good. 2. I gave them a large roll of landscaping fabric and gave it to them to help get a great job. They never offered to discount my job, or just pay me for something they would have to have, anyway. 3. The pea gravel I wanted was awful! That's my problem. It easily ends up on everything around it. 4. No edging was installed that would certainly help keep the rocks in place. 5. When spring came around, you would NEVER know there was fabric to block the weeds. The same weeds I needed to get rid of were thriving at every edge of the fabric. 6. I checked out how the fabric was laid and they overlapped ONLY ONE (1") INCH!!!! Even my mother knows the overlap should be at least 4"! I feel stupid that they didn't know how to install rocks, but I didn't know they aren't landscapers. Oh, yeah, they didn't have box knives to cut the fabric. I loaned them 2 of mine. I neither was returned to me. I feel this is a $2000 BIG mistake due to incompetence on both sides. By-the-way, I hired a different landscaper to make a beautiful backyard. "Rico's." They took A LOT of time to make sure the contract is understood by both parties. I asked a lot of questions and they made sure to get us on the same page. This was done in July 2023, but there they were doing a fabulous yard. The crew is actually husband and wife and he does 95% of the tough work. She works with customers and keeps the business going. "I found Brian Devey through a neighbor of mine that had a project done and he couldn't say enough good things about his work. I knew what the costs were going to be before the work was started and there were no surprises. Brian showed up when he said he was going to and his subcontractors showed up on time and on schedule. My project was extensive. It included a basement addition, which was to be my new laundry room, with a ground floor wall pushed out half the width of the new basement which meant I needed a heavy-duty steel beam for the new wall to sit on with concrete covering the rest and a deck on top of that. The next phase was a wraparound covered deck, new windows, new siding, new roof, and a custom kitchen. We also tore out an interior wall to make a kitchen great room. Brian handled all the permits and the appropriate inspections. I didn't have to do a thing, except pick the colors, which wasn't an easy task. He even helped me with that. We are very happy with the results."

"We were told that before the colored stucco would be applied we would see a sample of the stucco. We never saw a sample and the color with our original choice was applied to about a third of the house and we decided the color wasn't quite what we wanted and we asked about the sample we were supposed to see first. It ended up costing us a significant amount of money to redo the stucco in a different color, despite us not having seen a sample we were told we would be able to see first."
