"They did an excellent job. The prep work was great and all rough spots were smoothed out and repaired. The finish on the paint is perfect. They were on-time and did a fantastic job with communication. My only complaint is that we found a few tiny paint spots from when they sprayed the ceiling on the carpet after they left, but I was able to clean them up. We will definitely use them again for future projects."

Most handy homeowners can tackle removing texture from unpainted walls. Removing texture from painted walls is a bit trickier. Paint acts as a sealant, so you can’t soften the texture with water. Although texturing walls may not seem like a lengthy project, you’ll need to set aside between one and five days to complete it properly. It’s very labor-intensive, and thus more costly.”

Knockdown hides imperfections better than orange peel due to its thicker, more varied pattern. The valleys and peaks make flaws less visible under lighting. However, note that knockdown walls will collect more dust and dirt, so be prepared to wipe them away more frequently than you would with orange peel.
