Expert quoted $4000 to replace the AC. I then found another AC company myself (Humphrey) for a second opinion. Humphrey was able to fix the AC simply by changing the capacitor and fuse. "Dan was great to work with. He gave me lots of options without being aggressive about selling a certain style. He was always on time and if he happened to be running late he was great about calling to let me know. He also gave me great advice on matching my cabinet colors with other colors in my basement. He worked quickly and cleaned up after he had the cabinets installed. Getting the initial bid from Dan took longer than I expected, but that might have been a miscommunication on my part. As soon as I let him know that we were ready to move forward and that I'd like to get the cabinets done as quickly as possible, he was very responsive about getting me all the information and placing my order. I checked with a few other cabinet makers and Dan's estimate was competitive if not better than all the other estimates I received. He was also great about returning to make repairs from damage caused by other contractors and making adjustments. He was at my house either the day I called him or the day after to make the repair.
