"I had Manwill put in their top of the line Lennox Furnace (no thermostat was installed - used existing Google nest unit) and for the past 18 months we experienced a consistent increase in energy (kWh) consumption for heating and cooling. Today I called Manwill, explained my negative ROI on my initial investment and asked about having them install the thermostat they originally recommended in hopes of seeing an improvement. The price they quoted me had gone up $500 in 18 months (total quoted was over $1300, original quote, ~$800) so I’ve decided to terminate all my business with Manwill. I found the exact same S40 Lennox thermostat on Amazon brand new from an authorized Lennox dealer for $599 with the full manufacturer warranty and full feature set. Essentially Manwill was going to charge me $700 over retail price to install the thermostat. Sure Manwill has good service but are you willing to pay those kind of prices for good service and in my case product that does not deliver?? By the way, they put 3lbs of the most common Freon in my AC last week and that cost $684.00 (their cost per pound ~$40). Just seems everyone wants to jack their prices up and use inflation as an excuse for gouging hard working American families."

"1. Purchased a deal (Electrical) for a small job which has been done (left a positive review). During the job got an estimator here who gave us a quote for some other projects. Some of them were completed but it took much longer than expected. After that we tried to reach an estimator to schedule the remaining projects but he was "hiding (?)" from us. Eventually got a guy (Manager) here who declined all previous quotes that were given to us and gave us a new bid which was about 50% more than the original. Also during the conversation we figured out that the estimator and the installer provided to him completely different information about all our agreements, even though we had a written proof. Many times he mentioned that he needs a profit and he can't do this job for that money, quoted by his company guy!!! 2. Almost at the same time we purchased a Pluming deal from the same company. Before the purchase we spoke with CS Rep and explained the problem, specifically asked if this deal will cover the issue and got an answer "YES". So we purchased the deal and called today to schedule the visit. But CS Rep just refused to do the job even though whatever they have to do is exactly says in a description deal: "fixing leaky fixtures or pipes". So they were just looking for any excuses to not do the job (because it's low cost). Definitely we can't go with this company anymore."

"I called Ryan because my 15 year old furnace was not functioning. The heat exchangers had pinholes and the secondary exchanger was completely rusted out and clogged. Ryan did his absolute best to come up with the best solution for the least amount of cost to me. In the end the resolution ended up being a new furnace unit. This gentleman is transparent and honest. He took the time to explain to me why I needed a new furnace. He had the opportunity to cobble my old one together and charge me for labor, but his integrity shined through and he let me know it's not safe, and he's not comfortable doing that. I also took the opportunity to have him install a 4" filter box to prevent future system issues due to the awful 1" filter location. I will 100% call Ryan again in the future. I looked up the price of a hose bib, mmmm....yeah it’s only $10.00. I canceled the job and the plumber cane to my house the next day and harassed me,..he wanted to know why I canceled the job. I’m home alone with three kids getting bullied by a plumber at Roto-Rooter. Several hours their sister restoration company called me and said the state was concerned with my flooding and mold from my recent need of a hose bib. Our basement didn’t flood and this company tried to represent themselves as the state! I did get the job done by a certified plumber from ACE, total cost $275.00. So...Roto-Rooter upbid by $500.00 and harassed me. Don’t be this companies next mark, they are crooks!"
