Alan had the part we needed in stock. He was very courteous and helpful. They have anything you could ever need for any DIY job and are reasonably priced. They are our new go to store for all our household needs.

The serviceman arrived in the set time of a 4 hour span and was happy to explain what was going on. He was able to replace a burnt timer and was done within 45" of arriving, but it cost $234 (after using a coupon) and I later found out online that the timer cost $7.95. Wish I would have known that; my husband could have installed it-one screw and snapped in place.

The roofing part was not their expertise so we had to get another roofer. They seemed to be fair in price. They were very nice and seemed very professional. They were very quick coming out. They did do good at what they were experts at.

They did a great job. They were willing to walk me through all my different options and then were very open about how things were going. I'm a very curious person when it comes to these things, so I asked hundreds of questions, and they were willing an happy to answer all of them. The price was honest, and they even cut me a reduction because the job lasted longer than they had originally esitmated.

My air conditioner went out when it was 99 degrees out. After calling 11 places and getting nothing but outrageous prices and week long waits, Dick was the only one who made time to come out, with no extra charge. He thoroughly explained what he was doing, why he was doing it, and worked quickly. Very happy with him.

I have used this company for years for work at both my son and my homes.  They are not the cheapest, nor the most expensive but they are always there when I need them, they are quick to respond to any questions or issues.  They have been called to help with warranty issues and I didn't get any song and dance routine.  The only suggestion is for big ticket purchases, like this one, it was more helpful to go straight to the shop/office rather then call the administrative section.  I trust their work.

The provider showed up on time.  I was not home for the service so the provider contacted me and was professional in his demeanor.  We had said that the a/c unit seemed to be running a lot; however, for $85 they showed up and the only feedback we got was that our unit was an "18 yr old low efficiency a/c, will not keep up on 95 degree+ days".  When asked about a solution, the only recommendation they had was to buy a new unit for around $3500.  I also asked the technician about what could be done with a south facing room that is problematic to cool.  He suggested a variable speed fan that would run continuously.  This did not seem to pass the logic test so I asked what kind of air would be blowing in the house if the condenser (outside a/c unit) was not running.  The answer was ambient/hot air.  Not exactly the solution I was looking for.  I asked if a boost blower could be added to the ducting to that room to increase the air flow/velocity through that vent thus potentially providing more cool air.  That met with a lukewarm response and he instead suggested that another outside unit and blower could be added for just that room.  That suggestion placed any solution for the room into the same category as a new whole house a/c.  We spent some time discussing the types and merits of a new unit and the technician was very informative.  What he failed to mention, however, is that a new unit would save us approximately 8-10% per month on our power bills.  Even with a $200 electric bill (which we don't have) the max savings during the summer months would be $20/month.  It would take well over 20 years for the unit to repay itself in savings.  It is disappointing that this simple math was never explained.  Lastly, the technical left a bill with no explanation of what service was actually performed other than telling us how old our unit was.  When I came home that evening I found the return air filter sitting in the hallway.  It was not dirty and the technician did not say we needed a new one.  Overall we were disappointed with the detail and level of service provided.  Beware upselling of new equipment on service calls.

Both furnace and water heater ran into complications due to previous sloppy installation by original home builders. Kearsley installers were patient, informed, capable, and did a good job, especially the furnace installer. They were careful to consult with me before proceeding with any work that required additional costs and answered every question to my satisfaction. The guy who gave me the initial estimate was also very patient and helpful.

Our Polaris water heater which provides baseboard radiant heating for our home went out on the night of Monday, 12/16/13 with temperatures in the teens.  By the morning of Tuesday, the 17th, our home was cold.  I called our regular service provider (who had replaced a part for $228. in October)  and was told he would be at our home around 11 a.m.  When I hadn't heard by 1 p.m., I called and got an answering machine.  We called twice more during the afternoon and just got the answering machine.  Because that company closed at 5 p.m., I decided to give up on them, and I called  Dick Kearsley Service Center.  Their office assistant was so warm and helpful, I felt like I had gone from night to day.  She offered emergency help if we needed it.  But I told her we would be fine until morning.  Jimi came first thing on Wednesday morning.  He discovered a loose connection with one of the wires. He fixed it, and our heating system began working again after being off for two nights and one day.

I requested possible service the same day of my call.  They were able to make that happen and were able to replace the temperature controller and get my oven up and running again.
The technician was pretty knowledgeable and expeditious.  The replacement went fairly smoothly.  Other than a slight connector issue that was resolved, everything else went well.
I have used them before at my other residence so I was familiar with their quality and performance.

He checked my washer and determined that the transmission and clutch needed to be replaced.  He said the price to repair would be similar to buying a new washer and then told me a couple places that had them on sale.  He didn't charge me for the trip out which was great since I am a Federal Employee who had been furloughed on the government shutdown.

They arrived on time, finished the work quickly.  The install was on a thursday.  However, when it began raining on Saturday it rained IN the house!  So we called, and they came out the same day (a Saturday) and  fixed it up.  The next week, it began making a weird vhoom noise periodically.  However, when they came to repair it the noise wasn't happening, and I wasn't sure they'd believe me.  On the contrary, they not only believed me, they shortened the water line and turned down the pressure on the water line, since they thought that was likely to cause the sound.  It hasn't made a sound since, in 2 months.
They didn't get it right the first time, but they did a phenomenal job with follow up and getting the job done right.
