"As with most everyone else, I dread needing plumbing services. This time it was to replace the PRV on our main water line. Something that we have to do in Sandy every three years even buying the very best parts. 200+ psi coming in from the street and 120+ psi inside the house. The existing valve was definitely failing. I found TB Yetter with an average 5 star review score. Ya, right. Placed the call to HomeAdvisor and received a call back in less than a minute from TB Yetter (Derek) with the work scheduled for the next day. He asked the right questions, showed up exactly on time, and charged a very, very fair fee. In fact, exactly what he quoted me the day before. The work was completed quickly, professionally, and with no mess at all. Important in a finished basement. I asked him about installing a second PRV, a pressure gauge, and a regulator on my sprinkling system. He had every opportunity to 'take me for a ride'. He took the time to talk me through everything that I asked. Nothing was needed, the result was that he walked away from significant chances to charge me more. I would have willingly paid. In the course of the work he checked out the water heater install and was very complementary. The PRV replacement is not easy, but he made it work without cutting more drywall or altering the plumbing. It was complicated by the dreaded 1/8 inch difference in the PRV model. Cannot give these guys a stronger recommendation. HomeAdvisor needs some work though. The vetting is helpful as is the project estimator. The problem came in trying to get the person who picked up my initial call to understand what the project was. They definitely work from a rote list. The closest they could come to describing my need was 'Water line service’. Not helpful and took a moment to straighten out with Derek when he called. TB Yetter is now my only black book entry for plumbing."
