We are a locally owned and operated plumbing company located in the Sugar House area of Salt Lake City, Utah. This location makes it easy for us to provide services for many cities in the Greater Salt Lake Area. Our general area of service covers any area between Tooele and Park City; from Bountiful to Draper. We operate with the highest standards of integrity. We are licensed, bonded, and insured. Our plumbers are qualified and experienced. Plumbing Plus also has great reviews on Angie's List, an online listing service where member consumers can rate and reviews contractors and other service companies.

"Full renovation. Want to upsize water/gas & replace my failed stop-and-waste. Called PP and asked to schedule an estimate. Lady asked about project. Explained the gist and she said she couldn't provide an estimate for that over the phone, but told me their hourly rate is $165 and that is per worker so double that if two were on job, etc. Pricey, but not unexpected for skilled labor. Scheduled a time and I met Rodney. He was knowledgeable & friendly. Explained in detail what I wanted, asked if it was feasible, etc. He said they could do the water part, but since the gas line is owned by Dominion Energy up to and including the meter, I'd have to talk to them about if the gas line and/or meter needed replacing. Called DE and got on the waiting list for a "pre-eval", and as Rodney recommended I sent an email to PP with all the details of the project and a sketch for clarity. While waiting for DE to get back to me I got an invoice for $165 in the mail from PP. I called PP and asked why"

"Can't speak highly enough of Fedor and his team. They replaced the electrical box a year ago and have helped me with a few plumbing projects since then. They came for a free quote and always proposed multiple solutions, explaining every detail, answering all my questions, and tailoring their advice so I could make an informed decision. They are honest, industrious, and professional to work with. One day, a shower pipe started leaking, they came the next day and fixed it in a few hours. I was so relieved and grateful. Top notch service!"

"Warning, this is long. My wife and I hired Mike for a kitchen/partial bathroom/front entry way remodel after getting bids from a couple different companies. I will start off by saying we are not high maintenance people but do expect a certain level of professionalism. We are not here to nitpick but I find it necessary to let other people know our story so it doesn’t happen to them. And maybe in hopes that Mike will take our comments seriously and learn some things from this. - First, love the granite counter tops in the kitchen and main bathroom, however, the granite in the other bathroom is different and chipped, we made it clear I wanted all the same counter tops throughout. - Love the kitchen sink. - The travertine tile flooring looks amazing and was recommended to me by Mike and there were some concerns about it cracking and he assured us not to worry. Well, we have had over 30 cracked tiles, most of which have been switched out but still continue to crack. Adding to that, there were some tiles that clearly did not go with the lot. For an example, one tan color travertine in the middle of gray ones, they did fix that though. - Kitchen – we did basically a whole gut of the kitchen and a lot of details were missed. * Starting with the ceiling they put new drywall in because they took out a drop ceiling and installed canned lighting. You can see the seams in the drywall and does not look professional. Mike mentioned while doing it that he was not a drywall guy and I offered to get a drywall guy onsite if needed and he said no, should have been a clue for us to not move forward with him. * We were moving the spot of the island and Mike said I had a while to figure out exactly where I needed it as they were not going to set the island cabinets yet. However, they laid the tile and pulled the electrical cord through in the wrong location. Nothing was even discussed with us about it and we discovered this once it was too late. However, hind sight would have made me have them change it back when I first noticed. But now we don’t have an electrical outlet in our island which is code. * Another layout error was an outlet that could have been moved over a couple inches but now it’s almost behind the stove and hard to plug anything in. * Not even sure where to begin with the cabinets, they are such a mess. First the base of cabinets are disgustingly dirty, I feel at the very least they should have been wiped down. Also, the edges of the base of cabinets are frayed as if he did not cut them correctly. The wood cabinets doors are a disaster, a lot of them the wrong size and don’t close properly. Also, some of them have a very different texture than the others (Mike claims it’s because the other ones had dust, but that isn’t the case). We are still missing cabinet doors above the microwave which baffles me because Mike had about two months to give the measurements to the cabinet guys and after switching out multiple cabinets doors, still doesn’t have them right, you either have correct measurements or you don’t. One of the cabinet hinges are stripped. Screws were put in to some of the cabinets too far and now there is caulk over it making it look very unprofessional. After looking at the cabinet box around the fridge because I felt it was uneven, I finally took out a measuring tape and sure enough there is a 3/4 inch different between the top and bottom. * They put in a new window which looks great, however, the trim around the right side of the window/cabinet is horrible. There is a bunch of caulk all the way down and just looks sloppy. * Dishwasher was put back in and is uneven and not attached. My wife mentioned this to Mike and he insisted it was correct. It is definitely not. - Living room – we have a step down living room about 6 inches or so and we needed to replace the trim around it. There is a part of the edge that needs to support some of the tile, which should have been discovered from the beginning before doing the floor but a little too late for that. They put melamine trim underneath with caulk between the trim and the tile so the tile has no support. That night we even found cracks and parts that “chipped” off, very unprofessional. - Main Bathroom – the flooring, lighting above mirror, vanity were updated. Granite counter top looks amazing, flooring and vanity are good. One major thing is the hole where they changed the lighting over the vanity and did not patch it, but, easy fix. - Master bath – flooring looks great, light above mirror looks great. As mentioned above, granite is different and chipped. The drawers in the vanity are a mess, they screwed the faces of drawers in too far and then caulked it, really sloppy. There was a big chunk of the inside of a drawer that broke off and they caulked it back on, it looks horrible. The trim around the floor is uneven and needs to be redone. The tile that was laid lacked a proper transition between the tile and carpet, poor planning. - They left huge messes when they would leave for a couple days (weeks) and not clean up at all. Walking up to our front door is a long walkway of stone pavers and then trek deck up to door, they clearly broke a bag of grout and carried it up to the house spilling it and then not cleaning it up. Now after having weather and it not coming off after pressure washing, I have a big mess to clean up after they said they would take care of it. - There have been delays with counter tops and because of those “unforeseen delays” Mike offered to paint for us (us pay for paint) if we helped. While we expect to see a mess and touch ups, we don’t expect it to be a disaster and unprofessional. Mike had so much over spray everywhere that I have put in at least 4 hours in cleaning up the over spray. He sprayed over light switches and places that weren’t supposed to be sprayed. - We sent Mike a list of things we felt needed to be completed before his next trip and he agreed that he would look at those items and fix them, well only a few of them were fixed. - Mike contacted me before his “last” trip (ended up being about a day and a half later than expected) and clearly stated that he would not leave until everything is finished. So that last afternoon they were there we brought up a couple issues with the cabinets doors, Mike said he was going to Fed Ex the cabinet doors that we needed which implied to us he felt he was finished. He said he would talk to his cabinet guy and let us know when the other cabinets would be finished and left in a hurry without even going over anything with us. The next couple days were discoveries of things that were promised to be finished but were not. Added issues were found. My wife let Mike know of these issues and he said he wasn’t finished. He also said in response to some of the issues “unfortunately I have helpers and sometimes they leave something that I’m unaware of it,” quote on quote. This leads me to ask, why would you not look over everything? Why would you hire helpers that you don’t trust or have pride in their work? Since then, he said he needed to hear back from the cabinet/countertop guy, after two weeks of hearing nothing we reached out to Mike again asking for an itemized invoice and he said he would be in touch when he hears back from the cabinets/countertop guys and have not heard anything back, it's been over a month. - We have been more than patient with expectations not being met and even explained to Mike what we expected and he understood. This was supposed to be a total of 3 weeks and everything would be finished. I know there are delays to be expected but we are now in the 3rd MONTH and actually have not heard any update in over 4 weeks. Although my wife and I know very little about the construction business, we do know quite a bit about business ethics. Whether or not you are doing a low end or high-end work, details and pride of work matter. Keeping your customer informed matters."

2011 years of experience

DaBella is the leading home improvement company in the United States. With more than 23 offices throughout the United States, we're striving to transform home improvement services. We work with you to create value in your home by providing outstanding service and premium products for roofing, siding, windows, and bath replacement systems. Since 2011, DaBella has grown to become one of the largest home improvement services companies in the United States. "Our core purpose is to care for families and their homes. We strive to provide the best customer experience and the best environment for our growing workforce," said CEO, Donnie McMillan, Jr. "The explosive growth we have achieved in such a short time period is an incredible story in and of itself. It was only possible because we created a culture committed to helping people realize their vision. Not only the career goals of our own people at DaBella, but also for those homeowners who we serve every day." In our industry, it's common for people to talk about the dream of one day owning their own business, often driven by the desire to make a lot of money. The start to our story, however, is different. It entails a motivated, young family who had worked in the home improvement industry but envisioned a different kind of home services company. The goal was not just to build a business, but to create an extended family, where employees, suppliers and most importantly, customers, were part of the family. Not coincidently, the company was founded at the same time as the family was blessed with twins. In fact, the name of the company comes from a combination of their names -- David and Isabella. But DaBella is so much more than a company's name. From the beginning it has been a second family name for employees. It's the nameplate of a company who works in the name of families.

"Extremely Frustrating Experience – Poor Communication & Unresolved Issues If I could give zero stars, I would. My experience with DaBella has been an absolute nightmare due to their lack of communication, constant delays, and complete disorganization. From the start, my roofing project was plagued with poor coordination between DaBella, the installers, and the city. The process was full of miscommunication, unreturned calls, and delays that dragged on for months. At one point, the city even placed a stop work order due to missing permits, yet DaBella still attempted to move forward with the project. Throughout this ordeal, I had to call over 20 times just to get a response. Every time I reached customer service, the representatives were polite but completely unhelpful—no one knew who I was, no one had answers, and I kept getting told that someone would call me back, which rarely happened. The only way I got updates was by chasing them down myself. The office manager, Charlee Christensen, initially offered $300 to make up for the problems, but after I countered with a more reasonable amount, she completely ghosted me. It has now been weeks with no response, proving that their promises of “customer satisfaction” are just empty words. For a company that sells itself on quality and professionalism, this experience has been anything but. I regret ever working with DaBella, and I strongly recommend looking elsewhere if you want a company that actually values its customers. Avoid DaBella at all costs!"

"Kelly was absolutely wonderful and was very experienced in working with our old style draperies. The drapes were clean and refresh. They are hard to hang and take down, but Kelly clearly new what she was doing. I was amazed at how quickly she was able to put them up and down. She also referred me to a great place to get my 30+ year old sheer replaced. I would completely recommended to anyone!"

Bathtub Restoration questions, answered by experts

Refinishing a bathtub takes about two to four hours, but let the surface set for another 24 to 48 hours before using it again. Once it's set, your tub should last for 10 years or more. Ventilating the bathroom during this time is key for safety. In comparison, it takes about four hours to install a new bathtub.

There are a few signs, both obvious and not so obvious, that it's time to refinish your bathtub. While some of these signs aren't an urgent problem, others could lead to significant damage if left untreated. Signs you should look out for include:

  • Rust stains, which signal the tub's enamel or surface sealer is deteriorating

  • Small chips, which can grow into larger chunks and can lead to rusting

  • Discoloration, which doesn't lead to a more significant problem but can be unsightly

  • Dirty surfaces, which means that the tub glaze is breaking down and allowing dirt to seep below the coating

Yes, professionals offer stamped, stained, or polished concrete resurfacing for enhanced aesthetics.

It is worth it to refinish a bathtub if your current tub is in good shape. Refinishing your tub can remove scratches from wear and tear, cover blemishes and stains, and fill small cracks. However, consider replacing your tub if it’s severely damaged, has large cracks, or leaks.

When it comes to cleaning bathrooms, bleach usually comes to mind. But like ammonia, bleach can damage acrylic tubs. In fact, many tub manufacturers warn against using bleach on acrylic bathtubs, and doing so could void the warranty on your tub. Again, a gentler cleaner specifically made for acrylic tubs, or one of the homemade methods listed above, is your better bet here.
