Powell's Pro Building and Remodeling

My husband and I are so happy with our new kitchen!! Powell’s Pro does an amazing job. Rodger and his team are so exceptional. They are so thorough and have such a good eye for every little detail. I trust them and it was a pleasure to have them in our home for the construction process and the outcome is truly phenomenal.

Powell's Pro follows through with commitments and does a tremendous job. Their professionals show up every day on time, clean up after themselves, communicate well, and exceeded expectations, which did not seem possible after the trouble we have had with contracts over the years. Special shout out to Preston, Craig, and Joe who feel like family and are fantastic people!

Rodger and Lisa and the whole crew were professional, thorough and very friendly. Very enjoyable to work with. The project was finished when expected other than a few minor delays caused by suppliers. The bathroom looks great. We highly recommend Powell's Pro Building and Remodeling.

Powell's Pro just completed a fairly extensive remodel project on our house. The whole project went flawlessly. This is the third or fourth time we have used Powell's Pro and they have always produced a very beautiful finished product. We have used them multiple times because they pay attention to detail and we know we can trust them to finish the project according to our needs and specifications.

Powell Pro did an excellent job. I would give them the highest marks in all areas. I particularly appreciated the meticulous care they used in salvaging the tile to reuse and maintain the characteristics and historical characteristics of the room.

This is the third project Powell's Pro has done for us. They are easy to work with, their crew are friendly and professional, and they do excellent work. They do a thorough job for the price quoted without trying to nickel and dime for "upgrades" to the project. We trust them in our home and value the expertise they bring to their craft.

This is the 3rd time I have hired Powell's Pro to do remodel work for me. This time is was a full remodel of a 2 bedroom 2 bath condo. The Powell's are wonderful to work with, they listen to what you want and help you find the best solutions. One of the best things is they show up on time everyday. When they say 8:00 am be ready for the crew at 8:00 am. I have always found the entire crew to be professional and friendly.

This was the second bathroom remodel I've had Powell's do and it was excellent (again). Rodger and Lisa are so thorough in bidding and preparing for the project. I have no design skills and they both meet with me to help choose out materials and styles. Their recommendations are always so much better than I could have come up with on my own. Their crew is polite, professional, and tidy. They protect floors and other areas of the house and clean up every day before going home. They show up on time every day and work daily until the project is done. Any issue, no matter how small, gets addressed immediately with utmost courtesy. I plan to use them again for a kitchen remodel. I recommend them highly to anyone and everyone.

I don't like to write reviews very much and it's been a while since the project was completed, but the quality work done by Powells Pro at my home has been something that I have appreciated a lot recently and I felt like I needed to write a review. This is the second project they have done for me and on this project they helped put in radiant heat in a large part of our home and installed tile floors and replaced a sagging porch among other a few other things. One of the things that I appreciate most about Powells Pro is that on both projects they took our ideas and added to them in a way that created an outcome that was way better than we had expected. Our new porch in particular looks even better than I had imagined it. They have been very good to work with through the whole process and we have had very few problems with any work that they have done since they did it right the first time. I also appreciate that their crews were friendly and professional and were good to work with as well. I picked them a second time because of the of the great outcome on our first project and I have continued to be impressed.

From start to finish, my experience with Powell's Pro was exceptional. I had gotten their name from a friend who hired them to remodel a bathroom, liked what I saw and heard so got an estimate. Theirs was not the lowest or highest, but definitely the most detailed and complete. A lot of demolition and prep work was needed because of plumbing and electrical issues in my older home. They strove to find the best way to tackle problem areas (old pipes, electrical, etc) from both an aesthetic and cost perspective. The end product is gorgeous and I truly could not be happier with their workmanship and can do attitude. Lisa & Roger were my first points of contact with Powell's. They guided me through each aspect of the project and gave me as much help in decision making as I requested. They never dictated what was the right or wrong decision but would offer feed-back and pros and cons of certain ideas that I would never have thought of. We set a mutually agreeable start date several months in advance and timelines for picking items such as granite, vanity cabinets, etc. so that they would be ready to install without delays. They predicted that the entire project would be 4-6 weeks and that was totally accurate. Workers showed up every day, Monday - Friday until the project was completed. My project was scheduled to start on or about April 1, just as Covid-19 was becoming recognized as a serious issue in our country. As much as I wanted to get the project started, I did not feel comfortable proceeding at that point. I talked with Lisa and we both agreed that we should postpone the start date. June 1 was the new start date and workers were here and ready to go. The workers were courteous and fun to work with. They protected belongings, cleaned up every day before leaving and consulted with me regularly regarding specifics such as direction of tile, placement of guardrails, towel racks, etc. Powell's Pro is a class act and I give them an A+.

Please remove this company from Angie’s List they are not willing to do small jobs until after 2020.

Once you've worked with Powell's Pro, you will never want to work with another contractor. They did a major remodel for us (kitchen/bath/plus) last year, which transformed our house. So when we wanted to build a deck in our backyard, they were the first people we called. Once again, Powell's Pro didn't disappoint! They are honest, hardworking, and their craftsmanship is outstanding. Our new deck is sturdy, aesthetically pleasing, and they had it completed in a week. We just can't say enough good things about working with them.

Powell's Pro was great to work with! They took great care of our home during the remodel, were prompt, cleaned up daily, and very pleasant to work with. I would definitely recommend them for any home project!

Powell’s Pro recently remodeled my 3 bathrooms as well as other home projects. They were wonderful to work with. Very professional and always went out of their way to protect my home during construction. They thoroughly cleaned each area of my home as work was completed. The same crew was with me from start to finish and arrived promptly at the same time every day. I never worried about leaving them alone in my home. Roger & Preston are perfectionists, were here every day to oversee the work, and addressed any issues promptly. This company really does quality work and I will definitely contact them for any future projects. I truly enjoyed working with Roger, Lisa, Preston & their entire crew.

We knew right away that we were going to like working with Powell’s Pro. From our first meeting with Rodger and Lisa, we were struck by how likable and professional they were. Throughout the project, they were sensitive to our budget while helping us design improvements to our house that we had never even considered (Rodger is a genius). The crew was wonderful, as well. They showed up on time every day, worked hard all day, and cleaned up every evening. Plus they were really nice guys. They snuggled our dog in the morning and were careful to keep sharp objects put away because we have young kids. We always trusted them in our home. In the end, the project was completed within the projected time frame and at budget, and their work was excellent. We are so happy with our house! The craftsmanship and care Powell’s Pro put into the project absolutely shows. They were not our lowest bid, but they were worth every penny we spent. We love the final product, and the process was better than we ever expected.

Powell’s Pro was able to install grab bars in our shower and bring electrical to the toilet to install a bidet. They were quick and professional. It’s nice to feel independent again!

Rodger and Lisa do an amazing job! They offered some great design ideas and loved their suggestions! Incredible work, attention to detail and on time. I will be using them again and have already recommended them to friends and colleagues.

Workers were prompt and cleaned up every day before they left. Very conscientious and detailed about their work. My bathrooms look amazing!

This is the second time we have hired Powell’s Pro Remodeling to complete a job for us. From the start Lisa and Rodger Powell were responsive to our request for services. Both Rodger and Lisa assisted us in choosing vendors and product. They were open to our suggestions on design. A project manager stayed with our project the entire time. The crew assigned to our project remained on site until their responsibilities were completed. Powell’s Pro employees are punctual and only take a lunch break. All of their employees present in professional work attire. The work area was cleaned daily and the job was completed within the timeframe that Lisa and Rodger had given us. Would definitely work again with the Powell’s without hesitation.

Powell's Pro always completes their work professionally and according to schedule. Late in 2018 they installed a completely new roof (partially flat, and partially shingled), along with adding a beautiful extension of our existing roof to cover a patio. They reinforced the structure of our garage, and did extension re-wiring and remodeling of the garage area. Rain gutters were installed as well. This spring they completely renovated our back yard, including the addition of a retaining wall, flagstone patio and walkway, all new sod and sprinklers, New fence was installed in some areas, along with repair of existing fencing, and the addition of a gas line to our fire pit. It is always a pleasure to work with Rodger and Lisa Powell as well as their entire crew!

Really good they are very professional and clean

Remodeling is not so fun, but with this company its great! We needed the base molding added in the living room, dining room, family room, and 2 hallways. They brought all the supplies! (I didn't want to bother with that.) They were prompt, stayed on task, wonderful bedside manner, and did a professional job. They even calked all the molding without making a mess. And yes they thoroughly picked up after themselves. I am hiring them again to replace 2 windows. Look no further, you will thoroughly love these guys. I didn't take a picture of the family room because it was too messy and I didn't feel like cleaning it up but the molding in there is beautiful.

Powell's Pro is Great!!! Rodger and Lisa were absolutely awesome to work with. Our project changed a lot from when we started and they not only handled every curve ball we threw their way, but they also helped us find creative solutions. They made a stressful thing like a large remodel easy to deal with and relatively painless. Love the quality of the work and really enjoyed working with their professional crew.
