As an example: Even though my basement was already plumbed for a bathroom, they jackhammered it out, replumbed it, and repoured the concrete. Just to buy me a few extra inches in the bathroom. It made all the difference too as the bathroom is quite small. They found a way to make it larger with hard work, even though it wasn't included in the price.
