"Solar Panel Pigeon Deterince Huntsman Pest Control and Daniel is awesome with the best attention to detail I have seen since the Army if not better! I can not remember the last time I have felt so valuable and important as a customer like Huntsman made me feel. I felt like they are more interested in a successful and 100% fully complete job than they are about the job. Quality before price and quantity of jobs. They came to my house to give me a quote. They recommended some pre-service prep that was not directly applicable to the service but would make the end result quality of the job better. They came back out and spent a few hours putting wire around all of my panels in 2 different areas of my roof on a very steep pitch. After the job was done, we found that there were baby pigeons stuck inside under the panels. As much as I hate them and just wanted them to die, that wasnâ t the answer. Huntsman came right out and got them out and they hopped and flew as well as they could away. I called them back again because I still had pigeons that came back to hang around on the roof but they had no nest to go to or shade to hide in. Huntsman had other devices they could use and charge me more for with added labor, but instead made observations and recommendations for waiting for the heat and the lingering smell of the previous birds, nest, and feces to go away. Then the pigeons would go away too. Huntsman was right again. While I was talking to them, they noticed little bees flying inside and out of a step on my porch without any questions or cost, they sprayed to get rid of them. They were so small and discrete I would have never even noticed them. I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend Huntsman Pest Control LLC (US not UK) for any service they offer."

"I would recommend All Mountain States Pest Control when it comes handling a bird situation. Brian was very professional about his job, I showed him my situation. He went right to work, removed all nesting debris. Sprayed vent with chemical to rid lice an such. Replaced opening with new covering, that would keep the birds out. For his services, I was quite happy with the price. He was kind an courteous,an respectful. Great job!! ?"

"There is nothing worse than opening your pantry door and finding mouse droppings and chewed open food when you are about to get on a plane to go on a trip. Cody came in and set traps to catch the mouse and then also helped us be proactive for future issues by placing bait boxes on our property. I was very pleased with the results and grateful that he cared about our immediate needs and offered long-term solutions as well. That was over 2 years ago and we have not seen a mouse since. I will definitely use him for our pest control needs."

Bird Control questions, answered by experts

The lifespan of a bird's nest depends on the species. The building process can take from two days to three weeks. Once built, the nesting period for baby birds can last from two to ten weeks before they leave the nest. While most young birds are ready in two to six weeks, some predatory species may need up to two and a half months. Some species nest four to five times per year, so a nest could remain in use for several months. For specific information about a particular nest's longevity, it is best to consult a wildlife professional.

An owl's worst enemy in the wild is often other raptors and environmental factors. Among the avian threats, larger owls or other birds of prey can pose a danger, engaging in territorial disputes or competing for food resources. Terrestrial predators like foxes, raccoons, and larger mammals may target owl nests or young fledglings. Environmental factors like severe weather conditions, habitat loss, and food availability changes can also significantly impact owl populations.

This depends on if their needs are being met. They'll likely return night after night if they have access to food, water, and adequate shelter. If this changes, they’ll look for another roosting spot. This is why bright lights and other dissuading factors often work when removing bats from a property.

Some animals, such as bats or birds, will be able to get out of chimneys on their own since they can fly. Other animals, however, may have a harder time and will require the help of a professional to escape. Squirrels and raccoons in particular may become stuck inside a chimney, especially if you have a buildup of soot or creosote inside. This can prevent them from being able to climb out, in which case you’ll need to call an animal control expert to help remove them.

Trees that provide a habitat to bats and an abundance of bugs—their main food source—will attract bats to your yard. Because the North American landscape has changed so much in recent years, bats have a harder time finding trees with cavities to shelter in. If your yard has a dead or dying tree with a lot of sun exposure, bats will likely be drawn to it because trees with those features are less common.
