"NOTE: I signed up for a deal to clean and organize my garage. Instead I had furniture removed from inside my home. Therefore, this review is not about The Deal I purchased, but about work done from the same company listed with Angie's List.
Alex from Junk Jr. and his partner moved 4 large solid-wood heavy bookcases, 1 smaller heavy bookcase, a chest of drawers removing it from a small closet. a large particle board computer desk with file cabinet and shelf. a cabinet with door and drawer and two heavy sliding wooden doors from my subbasement area. They were careful to avoid routers, modems, cables etc. The area was filthy and they didn't bat an eye. They handled moving around corners, through narrow spaces and up stairs and through the garage without complaint. Very professional. I only needed to explain once what was needed and they didn't even have to take notes. They were perceptive, offered good advice, and I have to mention the empathy they expressed at my distress because it was an emotional issue for me. These were items built by my late husband, and I burst into tears. How very kind they were! I had contracted for a garage clean-up, yet they were flexible in changing to moving items from the sub-basement. I had discussed it with Cameron, who explained the price would go up from $119 to $169, the normal price their work, and I was not able to use the deal. He was calm and reassuring about my error and I had bought the deal last December 2014. Perhaps since The Deal doesn't expire until June, I can still use it for the garage. I can't say enough good things about Junk Jr. Smiling and friendly, and fast. On time. Very professional. It's worth it to potential clients out there to remind you, I contracted for 4 man hours and two men equals 2 hours. Very little of the time was spent talking, but they did have to explain what they would do and ask what I wanted. And the advice from Angie's list to know what you want done & have it ready to go is so important. I am going to purchase another deal with them through Angie's, and as I have been scammed in the past, it is reassuring to know there are reliable, bonded and licensed contractors with the company. I was hoping to receive a paper stating the items were donated, so I could use the donations for my taxes. I will contact Cameron. "

We use storage in nearly every room of the house, so it's no surprise that we lose track of things from time to time. The best way to organize storage is to declutter each year to cut down on auxiliary items that can be donated or tossed. Once you decide what's worth keeping, create an inventory list for all boxes you won't open for at least six months.
The time it takes to build a closet varies widely depending on the project's size, complexity, and level of customization. On average, construction can take anywhere from a few days to two weeks.
A simple reach-in closet might be completed in less than a day, while a more complex walk-in closet could take one to two days or more. A typical project often falls in the 2-to-5-day range. However, a large, highly customized walk-in closet that requires structural changes, like moving a load-bearing wall, will take significantly longer.
A professional contractor can provide the most accurate time estimate for your specific project. If you are planning a DIY build, it is best to budget additional time.
The vertical space between closet shelves depends on what you're storing. For clothing like shirts and sweaters, 10 to 12 inches is enough. Towels and linens need 12 to 15 inches, while tall storage bins may require 18 inches or more. Overcrowding your shelves can reduce accessibility and increase clutter, so be sure to leave breathing room for your items.
You can budget a little less money for how to build a closet with wire shelves than with wood shelves. Some people don’t like the aesthetics that wire shelves provide, though, meaning they’ll gladly spend a little more to add wood shelves to the build. If you decide to buy pre-made wire shelves instead of building custom-sized wood shelves, you’ll be restricted in the closet shelving dimensions you can use.
Tiny house living requires creative solutions to the one biggest issue: space. Many people in tiny houses find life most manageable if they practice minimalism. Eliminating excess items and clutter makes the living space feel bigger, which can be a significant mood booster. It can also be challenging to get utilities arranged for a tiny house, and building and zoning codes can and often do present unique challenges to overcome.
